The rug grippers I ordered yesterday were delivered yesterday, so I put them on today. The dog would slip on the ground as he ran around the corner because he is large. I am impressed by how well they worked. With my throw rugs now in place, I do not have to move them. It is nice to have grippers that are comfortable to hold.
There is this robot vacuum we have and let me just say that it did not get along with our rugs. The vacuum constantly became stuck on the corners of the rugs or moved them all around the house. The corners of the rugs are securely held down by these and we haven't run into problems The purchase was a pleasant experience.
They are very easy to use. Make sure you use two grippers for each corner by getting one on each side of the corner before you put them in place. Once they are in place, simply unwrap the sticky and the grippers will fit perfectly. While they do not stick carpet to carpet, they still keep the corners from lifting because of their weight, but do not keep the rug from slipping. Rugs on hardwood are fantastic as far as I can tell. They worked excellent and had no problems with my hard wood floors getting damaged. I bought them for my new carpet a month ago. As soon as I got another new carpet I ordered these again, from the same company, and literally within seconds of putting them on I had to move the carpet just a little, carefully lift up the tape strips, and the floor was ruined! The ruined floor has now created a V shape in each of its four corners. The word upset does not describe our feelings!.
