No, it is powered by batteries and has an on/off switch. turn off the light

Is it possible to remove the bulbs with a screwdriver? Is it possible to paint the letters with a spray paint gun?

The bulbs don't come out with a screwdriver. Because they're so small, you'll have to use a brush to paint around them rather than a spray can.

Is it possible for you to put the phone down?

Yes, there is a hook for hanging it on the wall.
