At first glance, it appears to be very cute. The company tapes the two boards together, which is the first thing I noticed. They should be able to do better than a piece of tape, in my opinion. Also, once you get to the second board, the accuracy is off; the bottom half is very accurate, but the second board is 1/16th of an inch off. I'm not overly concerned because the difference isn't significant. I intend to come up with a better way to connect the two boards than tape.
Excellent quality and design that complements our home's decor. We used black Sharpies with both a standard and fine tip to make our marks. Because it doesn't go all the way to the floor, you'll need to measure and mount it at the proper height if you want the numbers to match the actual height off the ground. Because the measurements are slightly off, the top measurement of 6' will be off by about 1/4" if you mount the bottom exactly. We didn't mind because we wanted something we could use to document our daughter's development and take with us if we moved. Every two weeks, we make a mark and measure it with a tape measure to ensure accuracy, then write the date and measurement next to it. There's a lot of room to write and mark things down.
I really like it, but I'm disappointed that mine didn't come with hanging instructions or adhesive, so I'll have to figure it out on my own. For the price, it's extremely inconvenient.
This is a cute way to keep track of your child's development without damaging the door trim. We haven't yet put it up, but it appears to be well-made. It looks like a giant school ruler to me. I am looking forward to making marking my son's growth enjoyable in the future.
This is very appealing to me. Anyone looking for something different should check it out. This growth chart will accommodate all three of my grandchildren.
It looks fantastic. The printing isn't as sharp as I'd hoped, but it looks fine from three feet away. br>br>For the time being, we've hung this up with Command velcro strips. Using the Command strips also makes repositioning during the initial setup process much easier.
It looks nice on the wall.
The command strips that came with it were ineffective. I'll have to drill holes through it to the studs behind it.
