Kev & Cooper Playtime Collection ABC, Numbers and Shapes Educational Area Rug - 5'0" x 6'6"

Unfortunately, this rug appeared to be BEAUTIFUL until I noticed that several of the shapes were completely incorrect. I'm just shocked that a company that claims to be educational for children would make such a blunder. I was looking forward to my kids falling in love with this rug.

This was done for the sake of my company. Where the shapes are on the rug, it's off. Before you sell the rug again, you may want to reconsider this.

I was hesitant to buy this because previous reviewers claimed that a couple of the shapes and labels were incorrect, so I contacted the seller, who assured me that the problem had been resolved and that it was no longer an issue. br>I'm so glad I took the chance. love it! It's of exceptional quality! This was a fantastic addition to our living room. br> It's also a fantastic educational resource. You can teach your child the alphabet, how to count, and how to recognize different shapes. br>It cleans up well in spots. Once I put it through the washer, I'll post an update. br>I'll be buying more to add to the bedroom in the future! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> For over a year, I've been using a commercial washer/dryer, and it's held up well after (cold) washing and (tumble delicate cycle) drying. br>br>However, when fabric softener is not used, it lasts longer. Otherwise, the non-skid backing will be eaten away at. After a year, I noticed the backing was tearing away and began to use fabric softener.

I was concerned about grammatical errors, but I had none. My son, who is two years old, It's a big hit with the kids (he literally gasped and pointed when he saw it). LOL! ) and we use it on a daily basis to learn. Some of the photos aren't particularly good, but that's to be expected. I can't say I'm disappointed for the price. I would have given it five stars if the rug had been a little heavier.

This rug was ideal for my hardwood floors as well as my special needs toddler. Every teacher, parent, and therapist who saw it remarked on it, and my son even turned it into a counting game by touching the numbers. It was wonderful to see him engaged and to know that, despite his jumping all over it, it was safely on the floor. br>br>However, I don't see how this rug could not be washed. We vacuumed it and spot cleaned it, but when you're potty training, sometimes you just have to throw things in the washing machine, which I did on low spin, short cycle, and only warm water. The consequences are disastrous. I can't lay it flat or use it anymore because the rubber underside has ripped to shreds. It's free of contaminants - The white, on the other hand, has faded over time - Maybe I should've used cold water instead. However, I am extremely dissatisfied. I think it's a good overall value for the price, but I don't see how you can market a product to children if it can't withstand a gentle wash cycle.

It has the same appearance as the rug. Colors are appealing to children. asking me what all the pictures are as he walks around the edge. I'm not sure about the quality, but it appears to be good. We'll have to wait and see. br>11th Update- The product is still in excellent condition. There are no frayed or dangling threads. The only drawback is that yellow squares stain easily when children are messy, but they can be easily removed when the carpet is cleaned.
