The chemical odor in this area rug is unbearable. It was in a vacuum-sealed bag when I received it. I immediately smelled it after opening it, and I decided to let it air out. Because of the foul odor, I had to take it to the garage. My garage now stinks after a few hours. I don't see how this product can be considered safe, especially in a child's room. I'm not sure how this product received such high ratings from so many people. This will be returned to Amazon as soon as possible. Terrible.

It was a gift for my daughter, and she absolutely adores it. The rug is of good quality and feels as if it were made of silk beneath my feet. It's a fantastic addition to the space. I would buy this brand again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

There is a chemical/packaging odor. So this is a super soft rug that will look great in my 8-year-old daughter's big girl room makeover. She had complete control over the aesthetics of her room. I haven't attempted any sort of was/spot cleaning yet. It was only this week that it arrived. After the super-sealed package was opened, the fluff was released. So far, everything has been negative. is smell. In that sense, it wasn't filthy or smelly, but there was a strong "chemical/factory" odor. After spraying with febreeze and laying it out with a ceiling fan on high. It went away after a few hours. Otherwise, everything is going well, and she is looking forward to it!.

The rug devolves into balls, which are obnoxious in appearance. It was the perfect match for my daughter's room, and we noticed bald spots on the rug shortly after we received it. I should have returned it at the time, but she adored it. It also moves around erratically. Very difficult to clean, which my child has allergies to, and dust mites do get into rugs, which you can't vacuum at all, according to my research. Don't throw your money away.

The rug is obviously shorter on one side than the other. It's a full 2 inches shorter on one side than the other, so it appears to be a cut error. It's difficult to capture in a photograph, but in person, it's obvious. Maybe once the rug airs out and fluffs up a little (it's vacuum sealed), it won't be as noticeable. I'm not the pickiest person in the world, but this is a major flaw. It also has a chemical odor, which I believe is due to the dye, and I'm hoping it goes away as well. If anything changes, I'll make a new review. br>Recent changes: I hung it in a different room for a few days to let it air out, and the odor is almost gone. It's also very cushiony and soft because it fluffed up a lot. Although the uneven sides are still visible, I believe I can conceal them in my toddler's reading nook. I'm satisfied with it overall.

This arrived quickly in an airtight package, and I read online that it had a chemical odor, so I hung it outside overnight and sprayed it with Febreeze to get it ready. The colors are vibrant, despite the fact that it is a very thin fabric. This was intended to replace another rug in my 6-year-old's room, so I chose to layer it over the old one for added cushion. I can't comment on stain resistance because my children haven't yet destroyed it (it's only been 20 minutes). So far, my daughter loves it, and my only criticism is that it isn't thick enough.
