It took three days longer than expected for UPS to deliver. Apart from that, with two exceptions, the ship's construction is excellent. As described, the ship is constructed of wood and has cloth sails. What cheapens it, however, is the fact that the two flags atop the masts are paper stickers, rather than cloth like the sails. The striping along the ship is also paper stickers that need to be pressed down because they are not flush with the ship's wood hull and need to be pressed down. . . enamel paint would be better.
This model is both high-quality and cost-effective. The model was packed and shipped with extreme care. My purchase has made me extremely happy!.

When we were researching my husband's ancestry, we discovered that he had several ancestors who came over on the Mayflower from England. I knew I had to get it for him as soon as I found it.
When my husband opened it, the British flag had broken — it was leaning over sideways — and the paper flag had been glued on differently than the other nautical flag. The back of the ship is raised above the front. SUCH AN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
My wife, who is a Mayflower descendant, was also impressed by the attention to detail.
