It seems to me that it should have a worn spot where I've used it for prayer comfort. I keep one next to my bedside table and use it during prayer if I'm having trouble sleeping. I also find comfort while watching TV or reading; it serves as a gentle reminder to bring my thoughts (both good and bad) to God.
This is the one I went with to replace it), but I didn't like the packaging. Two of them were my picks. One for me and one as a gift for my friend. I simply threw in a card and handed it over to her.
When I pray, I always use it. I'll buy more for my family because it fits in my hand perfectly. 💕.
I gave it to a good friend who is undergoing chemotherapy. She keeps it on her person during treatments to serve as a constant reminder. It's simple to grasp and hold on to.
I had no idea it would turn out so well. All of the nurses wanted to see it and thought it was the perfect thing for all chemo patients to have. My sister also bought one for a friend who was going through chemo and she carried it around with her every day. . . Again, everyone in the treatment room thought it was the perfect thing for all chemo patients to have. This one stood out above the rest because it was made from an olive tree, which has biblical significance. If you know someone who is going through a difficult time and needs to be consoled, this is the ideal gift.
I bought 12 of these for a Sunday School class I teach for the elderly. They come in a lovely gift box and are quite affordable. For Valentine's Day, I know my students will adore them!.
The name "Comfort Cross" is just right. When you're worried, hold your hand to remind yourself that you need help to deal with a difficult situation. Giving one to a friend who is dealing with a challenging diagnosis demonstrates your concern for them and encourages them to seek assistance.
My sister, who lives only an hour from New Orleans, has been without power for the past 18 days due to Hurricane Ida. Both she and her husband are suffering from serious health issues. She received it after I sent it. It's the perfect size for praying in your hand. I've purchased a total of four for friends and family.
