It's small and takes up very little room, but it'll get the job done. I had a ceramic one that broke, and I'd been meaning to replace it for a long time because the ceramic one allowed moisture to build up, resulting in a brown filmy layer on the bottom. It's a lot more practical and sanitary this way. I looked all over but couldn't find one that I liked. I went to Amazon and found exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price! You'll enjoy this one if you require one. The white goes well with the foyer's white paint trim.

Instead of umbrellas, I used it to store rolls of wrapping paper. It works perfectly and can hold up to eight rolls of paper.
