It is a nice umbrella stand. It has a tall design and a modern style that will fit reasonably well into a modern setting. There are four features that appear in the pictures but are not immediately apparent. The first thing you may notice is that in some of the rows at the top, there are no closing bands. These "bands" are intentionally open in order to allow you to hang short umbrellas from the top, which will keep them from sunking to the bottom and make it easier to access. Also, there is a little plastic tray at the bottom, so to the extent that water may accumulate at the bottom, you can pull out the tray and dry it out, which I found to be a very nice feature. The third thing to notice is that the stand seems to have something under it so that it doesn't scratch the floor when slid We like the stand since it is tall, so it holds umbrellas of all sizes nicely, including very large ones. Finally, since it is in a tight space, even umbrellas that are very tall will not lean too much when placed in the stand. Here's hoping that this information helps you make an informed buying.

The design is really nice and I selected it because of its higher weight than other umbrella stands (we have dogs) along with the fact that it would be more likely to stay upright even if bumped. It does exactly what it is intended to do, and so far, it is very reliable! Additionally, the design is pleasing to the eye.

The umbrella stand I bought is perfect for my needs. I wanted a durable way to store my large golf umbrella outside when it wasn't in use, and this stand is the perfect solution. Before this umbrella stand, I had already tried another umbrella stand, but it fell over twice within the first day, so I promptly returned that one and bought this one. turned out to be a great choice. Even though this stand is higher and heavier, it is still a better fit for an umbrella with a large diameter. I've had it up for about a month now and it hasn't fallen over. A tornado warning even happened a couple nights ago, but this stand was there the next day. There are not enough good things to say about this stand!.
