Our wedding license was issued by it. I like it, but I am just OK with it. The certificate has to be tightly rolled up into a tiny TINY roll, so that took more than one attempt. I didn't expect it to be so hard. It's not clear to me why the holder isn't fixed to the stand. It can be placed, but since there isn't anything to Hold the holder into place- It is somewhat unattractive. You can easily knock it off or slide it The part I dislike the most is that part. There is no real purpose to the ribbon since once it is opened, it does not return to its original position as shown in the picture. We can't tie it back nicely with our hands because they are too large and we don't have the grip to tie it back well. The finish is smooth and nice to look at, but it is totally unstable when placed on display on an end table in a living room (as we wanted to do at first). Instead of keeping it in the bedroom, we keep it on our nightstand. If I had my choice again, I would have bought this particular one because I would have liked it to be attached to my vehicle. That might not interest you, so here's something you might enjoy. That should be of some help. All this information would have made my life a lot easier if I had known it in advance.

This holder has really pleased me. My favorite aspect of the finish is the pewter. These won't tarnish like typical silver plated holders and I also like how plain and simple the finish is. A majority of holders are engraved with fancy ornate designs, but I don't enjoy them. The item looks a lot better than the online image and arrived much faster than expected.

It's such a pleasure to own a stainless steel cylinder that is rough. I plan to use it to hold goodbye letters and pictures of my husband's immediate family for his interment. A graveside service will be held in the fall in which it will be buried with his vault/urn. It was hard to find one with a metal finish and a nice size. The one I have chosen meets all my requirements.
