It is extremely beneficial. It's an excellent item. So you don't have to PRY your first pie apart, just follow the directions. pieces .
Yes, absolutely! It produces a better, more consistent, and crispier crust than using the pizza steel directly. We pre-heat the steel under the broiler (top rack) and then turn it up to 550 degrees (max oven temperature) just before putting the pizza in. The screen makes stretching the dough to the desired shape (and keeping it there) as well as getting the pizza in, turned, and out of the oven with one hand a breeze. No more dropped pizzas on the steel with a gloved hand!
Don't buy it because it's a monster. If you want a good pizza baking surface, invest in a pizza stone, or do what I did and make your own. Find a turntable plate from an old microwave oven and use it; it works great and is simple to clean.

I bought this to make pizzas in my Oyama turbo oven, but I didn't have good results with it. The 10" screen is the perfect size for the Turbo Oven, and I use it for a lot of other things that I make in the Turbo Oven, such as french fries, onion rings, tater tots, and other frozen foods, but the Turbo Oven isn't very good for making pizza in my opinion. br>I haven't tried using the screen in my regular gas oven because I always make 12" to 14" pizzas in my gas oven, but it would probably work fine if I did.
I'm not sure why, but this screen appealed to me. I bought it to use in my convection oven to make small, personal pizzas, and it did give me a crispy crust, but the screen's edges were sharp (which seems to lend itself to sticking more than something smooth? Even smoother wires or whatever would have been preferable to jagged, sharp wires. ) and I couldn't get my crusts to stay off the counter. I could manually pop the stuck bit of crust off through the back of the screen sometimes, but other times it was just stuck and I had to soak the whole thing until the crust came off. I made use of non-alcoholic beverages. Spray with a stick. I tried "cleaning" it by putting it in the oven to cook the food off so I wouldn't have to wash it (as some suggested to keep things from sticking), but it didn't seem to help, so I just bought a small, plain pizza pan. So far, it's kept the crust crisp and the pizzas haven't stuck to it, so I'm pleased. I'm not sure if it was just a bad screen, but I wouldn't buy another of this type.
These 10 inch ones were purchased for use in my small Rosewill round convection oven as well as my small toaster oven. They can be used in a variety of ways. The quality appears to be good, and the four I purchased are in good condition; none of them appear to have any flaws. This purchase has made me extremely happy. They were in great shape when they arrived. I intend to use these in a variety of ways. You can't go wrong with the quality and price. br>br>I sprayed mine with cooking spray and used them in my convection oven for a variety of tasks, and they worked great and cleaned up quickly. The cooking spray, I believe, was instrumental in the quick cleanup.
This was a game changer for me because I could never get the crust crispy enough to hold up like real pizza crust before. Never again will I make a pizza with a soggy cauliflower crust. ) Guessing works well with regular pizza crusts as well.
This is for my nuwave oven, which I purchased. It's comfortable to wear and prevents items from falling through the rack.
I cook with a countertop convection oven (a Nu-Wave model). While two racks were provided, I required an open baking screen for smaller items such as fries and onion rings, as well as something with holes to allow heat to pass through for crisping. This item is extremely well-made and meets all of the requirements. I tried using baking mesh, but it was too flimsy, so I had to cut it down to size. It was extremely inconvenient. This is an excellent product. br>br>Amazon and Amazon fulfillment are two of my favorite things. You always seem to know exactly what I'm looking for.
As a result, I began to make them myself at home. However, until I used this pizza screen, I found that when I made my own pizza, the crust was lacking. The crust is crispy, which is exactly how I like it. I also use it to reheat refrigerated slices, which results in a crisp crust. For those who prefer a crispy crust on their pizzas, I highly recommend this pizza screen.
Great value for money!.
