Questions & Answers
I have the glass dome that is 12 inches in diameter. The glass's base is approximately 7 1/4" wide, and the opening in the wood base is approximately 7 3/4" wide. The glass is approximately 10" tall, with the nub coming in at 11". The total height, including the base, is 12".
I'm not sure if I have a lg or md, but mine measures 12" tall by 8" wide.
I believe it would be appropriate. It has a 19-inch diameter and a 59-inch circumference. I hope you find this information useful.
This looks like it could be turned into a terrarium. However, because the bottom is wooden, you may need to add something to cover it, such as plastic wrap or foil, to keep moisture away from the wood. The glass is well-made and of high quality. In the spring and summer, I use mine outside on a covered porch with bird nests.

Smoked cocktails are one of my favorite things to make with it. It performs admirably.
When my husband gave me an exquisite handmade book as a gift, I began looking for a display platform that had the perfect combination of 'look' and protection. The book's dimensions were 6 1/2"H x 5"W x 1 1/2 "D, and it needed to be tilted on an easel to fit. This is it: a large glass cloche! br>Everything about this unit appeals to me, from the distressed-looking exterior to the cozy interior. wood- The substantial glass 'bell' has a handcrafted and metal look to it. The 'handle' at the top adds to the overall appearance while also making it simple to lift the bell without fingerprints all over it. br>It does my priceless book and its tiny easel justice. Even better than I had hoped for in terms of display and protection. br>As a bonus, here's something to think about: Because many reviews mentioned measurements, I took my own measurements. The Large unit measures 12 1/2 inches from the top of the handle to the bottom of the stand, with an outside diameter of 8 1/2 inches and an inside diameter of 7 5/8 inches. The cloche's bottom diameter is 7 1/8" in diameter. The inside height of the cloche is 8 1/2" from center bottom to center top, but at about 7 1/2 " from the bottom, the sides of the cloche begin to curve inward toward the top. So, do I think this is something I'd recommend? Yes, please!.
Although it isn't particularly large, I believe it is ideal.
It's the perfect medium size, sturdy, and just what I needed!.
The 1/8" thick bell jar glass has a nice heft to it. This one is not optically clear, but a similar and more expensive bell jar display I use is less than half as thick and feels much more fragile. If this is to be used as a display, it will be slightly distorted in the middle and much more so at the top. br>br>The stand is a bit shaky. Unidentified type of highly desiccated wood. It's either naturally oily or has been treated in some way that causes it to leave marks on the surface it's placed on, as well as on your hands and clothing. It's light and porous as a feather. Large gaps between the metal band and the wood resulted from it not being tightly strung around the perimeter. It's a good idea to run a bead of high-strength wood glue around the top and bottom interior perimeters to give it some strength. Cleaning, gluing, painting, and refinishing are all things that need to be done. It will be necessary to set up the metal band. br>br>Everything about the base can be improved, but it is currently in a state of disarray. isn't something I'd want to have in my home. If not used to display something, the glass enclosure is worth the price, so I'd recommend this product with reservations.
I bought this to keep a Labyrinth collectible safe. br>I'm ecstatic. The size is ideal, and the design is complementary. This is fantastic.
This is adorable and exactly as depicted in the picture. The wooden foundation isn't strong enough. It is lightweight because it has a cutout underneath. It'll be ideal for a pair of decorative piglet soaps I'd like to put on display in my farmhouse kitchen. It is a small space. So don't think you'll be able to fit something big in it if you buy this. I'd say don't try to store anything bigger than an oversized muffin in terms of width and no taller than a bathroom hand soap bottle in terms of height; it's ideal for cute little trinkets.
I'd seen the glass toppers on cake stands before, but it wasn't until I joined an online plant propagation group that I learned about the advantages of using one of these lovely bell jars! They're great for displaying plants, but they're also great for increasing humidity or protecting them from the elements, such as if you have a cat who likes to eat plants!.
