The item is made of solid, natural wood and beautiful, slightly distressed paint and is exactly as shown in the picture. I've wrapped lights around the ladder, but it's strong enough to display or store blankets, etc. It adds a touch of rustic charm!.
This was the ideal piece to complement my living room's contemporary style! It's a little rough around the edges, but that's exactly what I wanted, and I love the white color.
Despite how much I wanted to like this product, it was riddled with flaws. It arrived in a skewed state. How do you ship a crooked product that's supposed to be flush against the wall or floor? We had to cut actual inches from the top part to make it lay even against the wall and sit even on the ground because it didn't lay even against the wall or sit even on the ground. In addition, we had to cut inches off the bottoms to make them angle. We also bought rubber stops for the bottom because it would leave marks in the floor and slip with any weight on it unless you had carpet. ever. As a result, it scratched the floor as well as the paint on the wall before we realized we needed to make a few adjustments. It's nice now that we've got everything fixed, but dang. It should arrive ready to use when you pay the money. Who knows, maybe we got a rotten egg.
Overall, a fantastic deal! My top is a little lopsided, so I have to stand it a little off-kilter on the floor to get both top edges to lean against the wall like I want them to, but it's not a big deal. I bought some small furniture pads to protect the top against the wall (but not the legs on the floor). ) I like how it looks and how useful it is for hanging my kantha throws. Also, the price-to-value ratio is excellent. I'm very happy!.
I wanted a rounded ladder with some character that wasn't too perfect. It's wider at the bottom and narrows as it gets closer to the top, giving the impression of being taller. I also needed a place to put my plants on display, and this ladder is sturdy enough to hold a couple. There will be more in the future. It hasn't slipped or scratched my wall in the two weeks that I've had it. I'm not sure how well it'll hold a blanket, but it's currently holding a small pot filled with dirt; I'd definitely recommend it, and the price is comparable to Target's Hearth and Hand version but much nicer.
It was cute, but it was also stark white, so I painted it off white, and I guess it didn't occur to me that it wouldn't fit against the wall properly. It was inexpensive, and I kept it after I painted it, but mine was uneven and the blue white was too much for a wall.
To begin with, this is way overpriced; however, I like the product; it's cute. However, my blankets are large fur blankets, so I wish it was wider. I dislike how the bottom of the ladder is devoid of any kind of foam or rubber to prevent it from slipping off the wall and onto the floor. That's why I docked a point for paying attention to such minor details. Overall, I enjoy it and it accomplishes the task at hand.
I was content until I began to notice piles of fine sawdust on my blankets and the floor beneath the ladder. This ladder appears to have been delivered to me with critters attached. Something is pushing new sawdust out of the tiny holes inside this ladder. I've never seen a termite before, so I have no way of knowing if this is the culprit. This ladder, on the other hand, must be burned in a hot fire as soon as this problem is resolved to my satisfaction!.
