The description says the clock can be hung, and the photo shows a loop for that purpose, so I chose this shower clock/timer. Not true. The clock comes with a loop attached to a tiny, week lobster claw hook, but there is no way to attach this loop to the clock — it's just an extra item in the box. Don't be duped by the deceptive title. The suction cup, the kick stand to place it on a platform, or hanging flush to a wall with a screw or nail are the only options for displaying the clock. There isn't even a loop attached.

Aside from that, this shower clock is fantastic. It has aided in the training of my children to enter and exit the shower in a timely manner, as our water bill had become unmanageable. My daughter would turn on the water while texting or fiddling with her hair in her room. I explained to the kids that the clock begins ticking as soon as the water is turned on. You've got 15 minutes left. You'll be done in 20 minutes! That is all there is to it. So far, everything has gone well. It's not a problem if it gets wet. I'm not sure if soaking it in the tub is a good idea, but for the purposes of my family, this small clock is ideal.

Although I like the design and appearance, it began to malfunction within three months of purchase. Whenever I try to set the timer or the clock, it goes blank and makes a horrible buzzing noise for about 20 minutes unless the battery is removed. I'll see what I can do about getting it replaced. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It turned out to be a problem with the battery. The buzzing was caused by cheap batteries that died after three months (weird). They had to replace it twice because we couldn't figure out what was wrong. So far, it's been great. Let's hope it keeps going!br>br>It's worth noting that the seller's customer service was outstanding. They replaced it twice with no fuss and even let me keep the replacements after we discovered the problem was with the battery, not the clock, as I previously stated. For a long time, I've been looking for something that would work in my shower/steam shower and had a hydrometer, as well as a temperature, time, and alarm. Others I tried died after a week because they weren't designed for such humid/wet environments. Then I came across this unit and was overjoyed to have finally discovered a shower-specific unit! The decision to use these touch buttons is by far the most significant issue. Why? When it's raining, they're the worst. Consider attempting to use your touch screen phone with a wet screen or soaked fingers. They never work properly because the humidity causes the buttons to do things that you didn't intend for them to do. Example. I set a 10 minute timer, but it turns off or changes to 99 minutes 5 minutes into the shower. sucks. In addition, the humidity can get stuck at HH for days at a time. Wasn't this supposed to be used in the bathroom? Last but not least, it requires a backlight because it is far too dark to see clearly. Having said that, it's the best I've come across so far. Advantages: br>br>

Initially, it worked well, but it did not last long. We hung it in our kids' shower (out of direct water spray), but it stopped working after only two weeks due to moisture in the display. This is not a waterproof material!.

This one fails spectacularly when it comes to bathroom clocks: The screen is too dim to read, and the surface fogs up, so even if it were bright enough to read, it would be obscured by fog. br>br>It claims to be "Splash proof," which means you can't submerge it in water. So much for lounging on the tub's edge. Keep it out of the shower as much as possible. br>br>It's a touch screen, which is great until you get it wet or it gets wet. The device will detect phantom touches if either of these conditions are true. You or it is always wet _because you're in a bathroom_, which is the only negative aspect. br>br>It displays temperature and humidity, but who cares in the shower? The humidity is 100% at all times and the water determines how hot or cold you are. It isn't necessary to know the temperature of the air. br>br>I mean, it's a clock that tells the time, so I can't give it a one-star rating.

Once the batteries have been installed, the battery cover is difficult to replace. To change from centigrade to Fahrenheit, the battery cover must be removed. Timer in seconds is not an option; only minutes are. It's convenient to be able to check the time while in the shower. With so many drawbacks, I'd say it's not worth the money. Once the timer is set, most timers start without your input, and the minutes sometimes run wild, setting themselves to 99 minutes when you didn't set 99 minutes. Even if it's going to a time you didn't set, there's no way to stop it unless you remove the batteries, which is difficult to do.

It was on the shower wall, but not in the water stream. It got splashed and sprayed from time to time, but that's to be expected from a "shower clock. " We liked it when it worked, so it's a shame. The batteries had gotten wet and corroded, and there was water inside the display, so I had to throw it out. br>One star for being useful and good while it was still working, and one star because it would probably work just fine if it were "near" but not "in" the shower stall.
