It works as long as you don't breathe on it after setting the time; otherwise, the format or the timer will change, and you'll have to reset it. Military time is fine unless you have two dyslexics who need a calculator and a lot of luck first thing in the morning to do the math in the shower. I've put the suction cup flat on a shelf because it's pathetic. It irritates me to no end. I'm still debating whether or not to return it. We had no sense of time in the shower and all we wanted to do was keep track of the time, so don't buy it. EDIT: I was so enraged that I threw it in the trash. PIECE. OF. GARBAGE.
While attempting to remove the sticker, the front scratched almost immediately. When it fell off my wall, it scratched once more. My roll-in shower and my smooth metal medicine cabinet are both resistant to the suction cup. Random water droplets can start the timer, and it makes a lot of noise. Extremely humid environments, such as the shower, can cause the humidity sensor to malfunction. br>br>However, it does a good job of telling the time. As a result, I suppose it earns a star.
Love it! So far, I'm really enjoying this shower clock. The buttons are touch-sensitive rather than pressure-sensitive, which is a good thing. It comes with a timer that is extremely simple to use. Moisture is kept out of the battery compartment by sealing it. I understand that some people are upset about the low-cost suction cup, but I believe that many people don't realize that no suction cup will work on a porous surface. Unless you're working with glass tile, glazed ceramic, or something similar. There isn't going to be any suction cup action. If you really need a better suction cup, I'm sure you can find a lot of them on Amazon.
I wish I could give it a perfect score of five stars. It worked perfectly, the suction was excellent, and it prevented my teenagers from fighting over the shower. However, after ten months, it broke down and is no longer functional. I was hoping for a minimum of two. It's been three years since I've been able to do so.
It's been a complete success. When the timer goes off, my kids know it's time to get out of the shower!.
Although the clock appears to be as described, I would not recommend purchasing it if you intend to use the suction cup. It is completely ineffective. If you plan to use the kick stand to prop something up on top of it, it works as advertised.
I haven't used the timer function, but I'm assuming it works like a regular countdown timer to I guess time the intervals of showering? It has a 12 or 24 hour format so you can alternate to whatever you feel comfortable with as well as a Celsius or Fahrenheit mode I haven't used the timer function, but I'm assuming it works like a regular countdown timer to I guess time the intervals of showering? I'm not sure, but it's a feature, and you could use it as a multipurpose clock.
