I wasn't planning on spending $35 on a clock, but you get what you pay for! It assists me in getting ready in the morning because I have a tendency to lose track of time while showering. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: After absorbing the steam from my hot showers like a champ for several months, this thing is still going strong. This clock is still one of my favorites. I just thought I'd mention that if you don't like how much this sticks out, simply remove the suction cups and replace them with a nail! The clock has a hole in the back where you can nail it to the wall (I believe?). oh well, that's what I did with it! I did it because I was skeptical of the suction cups. br>br>Update: 29th of July, 2019 - This clock has been working perfectly for over a year, surviving a move with ease, and this time at my new place, I'm using the suction cups, and it hasn't fallen once. I'm still very pleased with this clock, and it was well worth the $35 I grumbled about when I first bought it. br>br>Update 2: 3rd of February, 2020 - I'll have had this clock for almost two years in a month's time. The suction is still A and everything is working fine. There hasn't been a single time when he hasn't fallen. As I previously stated, the $35 was well spent! br>br>Update number three: 14th of January in the year 2022 This clock continues to function flawlessly. This purchase continues to satisfy me. Things don't last very long these days, so this was the best $35 I've ever spent.
The clock itself was appealing to us. The display, however, died after two and a half months.
I'm one of those people who is notorious for being late. I have a tendency to lose track of time. In the shower, having a reliable clock is beneficial. It's also helpful to see the date and weekday so I can remember what's going on first thing in the morning. I was also blown away by the suction power. Suction cups don't last very long on the walls in my shower; nothing lasts more than a week. This, on the other hand, has been going strong for a couple of months.
It arrived promptly, but I had expected the product to be smaller based on the images. I planned to hang it on the shower wall, but I had hoped for a smaller clock, and this is far too large for me. It has all of the features, but I wish there was a quicker way to change the date or time without having to go through all of them again. Because of its large size and weight for a clock, the suction cup does not adhere very well; I had to try several times to get it to stick. Maybe they can make it smaller and easier to navigate with buttons next time.
I've only had the clock for a few weeks, but it's already been fantastic. It looks good, is easy to see, and was out of the box and attached to a triangle shower in no time; I was concerned that it would be too big, especially since my previous clock was much smaller, but I much prefer this one. It hasn't yet fallen off the shower wall, but it is still new, so in terms of suction power, I gave it four stars. I would recommend everything because it is good.
The only problem I had was when one of the suction cups got stuck in the grout between the tiles. Overall suction strength was weakened as a result of it. So I simply removed it from the wall and positioned all of the suction cups so that they were completely flat against the tiles. It was a perfect fit. br>It does require one AA battery, which is not included, but aside from that, it worked flawlessly. This unit has made my life a lot easier.
Has stayed solidly attached, still ticking, and the same batteries after five months in extreme heat and moisture (a steam shower).
However, there was no helpful phone assistance. This clock appeals to me in every way. It's the third time I've had one. However, it was impossible to "advance" the day of the week without affecting a number of other dates, appointments, and other items that did not need to be advanced. I'm sure there's a way to make it work. However, the instructions for the initial setup are inadequate, and there is no useful HELP number provided. As a result, I "live" with the day-to-day responsibilities. the- One day per week is designated as a "day off. " " It's not a major issue to deal with, but it's inconvenient.
