Shabbat Candles - Traditional Shabbos Candles - 3 Hour - 2-Pack x 72 Candles, (144 Candles)

To be honest, I don't use these in the way that they were designed. I cram them into larger, already-burned-out candles to try to give them a second life; I did this for a couple years with another brand of Shabbat Candles (don't remember the name brand) and it seemed to work better than this brand. The issue is that these wicks appear to be quite frail. When I burn these in this manner, I frequently find that the wax melts out the candle. However, in the past, I would simply scrape off a small amount of wax and be good to go. These wicks, on the other hand, appear to be so frail that you can't scrape off wax around them without the wick breaking or shredding. The wicks are simply too weak, which is strange. br>Perhaps this will not be a problem for you. However, it does not appeal to me.

We bought eight boxes in the hopes that they would be ideal for our needs. They hadn't been lit for 30 minutes, and wax was all over the place, and the candle was completely consumed. 3 hours isn't even close to being adequate. I'll never buy these or similar candles again! Don't squander your cash or time.

None of the ones I've tried so far have burned for that long. The range has been two years. The wicks are made up of thin threads that burn with a nearly 2" flame that consumes the candle wax much faster than advertised, lasting about 2 1/2 hours. Who is responsible for their production? Although the box says "Jerusalem Candles," a few faint words on one side that say "product of prc" indicate that they are not from Jerusalem, On the box, there is no name or address that indicates who makes, supplies, or is responsible for them. br>These candles do have one redeeming feature: They burn evenly and without dripping in most cases.

The wicks are thin string that do not burn properly. They also don't burn for three hours, dripping all over the place and causing a major mess. They received a two-star rating from me. It was more entertaining to see how badly they burned than it was to give them a lower star rating. I'm not sure what these are made of, but they don't seem to burn like any other candles I've seen. The photo I used was taken on Hanukah's final night. But, at the very least, they were inexpensive (and entertaining).

There are no drips at all. Completely consume the substance. The time it takes for the food to burn varies. 75 - These are among the best Shabbot candles I've ever used, lasting 5 hours. They were docked one star for being called Jerusalem Candles when they should have been called Beijing Candles to reflect the country where they were made.

It's a hit-or-miss situation when it comes to the wick. These candles light up beautifully on occasion, and the wick is the ideal length. When the wick is too long, it burns out quickly, and I have to dig it out to relight it. I sometimes have to dig out the wick because it's too short to catch a light. This product does not appeal to me in the least.

White isn't the case. translucent is a better word. Burns very quickly and is a waste of money.
