The last few boxes of Shabbat candles we have purchased have been terrible. We have used several major brands of candles, but the last few have been particularly bad. They lasted the usual amount of time and had no While I do not like using disposable candles, I will have to do so until I can obtain a more neat and sanitary brand. It doesn't appeal to me to waste anything, so I'll keep them in case we run out or I need candles for another.
Due to their narrow base, these don't fit into standard Shabbat candle sticks, so you must wrap foil around the bases to prevent them from falling over. In addition, they do not drip.
It is a known fact that crooks and lairs come in all shapes and sizes. Ten minutes later, the apart day candles had burned to mush. What the heck!.
