These were purchased with the intention of fitting into my daughter's Waldorf birthday ring, and they do, but they are not beeswax. Even when not burned, beeswax has a lovely aroma, which these lack. They only have a faint odor of cheap birthday candles from the supermarket. Overall, I am unhappy with my purchase and would not recommend it.

First and foremost, you should be aware that In Germany, the standard diameter for pyramids or chimes is 14mm (0. 55 inch. This candle only has a value of 0. 47”. Why I prefer this smaller size: it has a bit of Stick-to-It-ness to it. You can easily get the candle absolutely straight without having to manhandle your delicate pyramid or angel chimes with Um (also available on Amazon). (Stick- Um is a must-have in every home. It can support this candle on almost any flat surface, including a plate. It can be used to make any size candle, and it never hardens and can be washed away. )br>br>In addition: )br>br> These candles are taller than the Christmas pyramid candles available. Pyramidenkerzen have a height of about 3 inches. These are about 4 1/4" in height. I've been unable to locate Eika candles in the smaller 3" size, despite the fact that my pyramid can accommodate these larger candles. Check your pyramid's instructions or use a ruler to see if it can handle this height without damaging its blades. What I like about them: br>br> The wick has been nicely prepared. dipped in wax, woven tightly, and perfectly centered When it arrives, the wick has already been trimmed to the proper height. The wick's diameter is properly matched to the candle's diameter so that the wick burns at the same rate as the fuel when the candle is straight. There hasn't been any dripping in my house. It produces a clean, bright, and consistent flame that is free of the noxious smell of paraffin. They are 100% beeswax

I . These are not the ear candling sticks made of beeswax. They want to deduct the return shipping charges from my refund because I bought them by mistake while searching for ear candling sticks. I figured I'd share in the hopes of preventing others from making the same error.

My go-to option is It was impossible to find a place to keep all of Waldorf's belongings. I didn't have any of these birthday candles in stock, so I decided to give them a try because I needed them for my daughter's birthday. I didn't need or want 20 candles, but they were the only option that would arrive on time and appeared to be of good quality. When these arrived, I was completely taken aback. They appear to be identical to the $3 per candle candles I purchase from the other store. They smell like a beeswax candle (which my daughter doesn't like, but I do), fit in the brass candle holder inserts made for the birthday rings, and burn beautifully. I still wish I could have bought fewer candles, but I am pleased with my purchase and would buy it again (though I doubt I will because I have enough to last several years!). )br>br>PLEASE NOTE: These are NOT your typical birthday candles. They're a lot thicker than the usual thin cake candles. These are the same candles used in Waldorf and Montessori schools, and they burn for much longer. Of course, these could be used to decorate a cake.

I keep these in my chime candle holders, and they're great for rituals and as a light source while I'm writing. They didn't smell as nice as the bees wax from the store, but they lasted at least 2 hours, according to my calculations.
