I was delighted to discover candles made in the United States. I was relieved to discover that they were not broken when they arrived with another item stuffed into the mailbox. However, the joy was short-lived because two of the candles are warped and do not stand upright. I went to the lobby to look for hobbies and found straight candles, though they weren't blue or pink at the time. I'll take care of it next year, next year.
The Episcopal church has been using blue as the Advent color for a few years now, saving purple for Lent. I'm hoping you'll keep carrying this product so they'll be available for Advent next year. AMC.
In recent years, it's been difficult to come by taper advent candles. I was really looking forward to these, but they let me down. The color faded, revealing the white underneath. They burned down quickly and the wax spilled all over the place, more so than other candles I've tried. I'll probably only buy these if I'm in a desperate situation again.
When some Protestant denominations switched from purple to blue as the liturgical color for Advent, it became more difficult to find these in retail stores (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e Hallmark stores, for example). These are well-made and get the job done. Thanks.
The blue and rose colors are exactly as they appear on the website, and they're perfect for decorating Advent wreaths in the more modern colors that some churches are using.
These burned much faster than they claimed and melted all over the place! From now on, I'll only use drip-free candles.
I was delighted to find this Advent candle set because I prefer blue to purple for the season. They do, however, consume a lot of energy-- They would not have lasted if I had burned them every day of Advent. and wax dripped from my candle holders onto the fabric beneath my Advent wreath Next year, I'll look for dripless candles, even if finding them in the right colors will take longer.
Candles that are the worst I've ever seen. Burns quickly, is easily broken and chipped, and drips a lot.
