WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, The packaging was clearly visible and had been opened on purpose when it arrived. It was necessary to double-check that all lamps were present (which they were, thankfully). As shown in the third photo, the lamps were also small in comparison to the holder. Fortunately, I had repurchased the silicone lamp holders to stabilize them, as well as to raise them higher up for proper display. Next year, I'll most likely choose a different lamp style, shape, and size. In a couple of weeks, we'll see how they burn. br>br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. They work great, and the oil transforms from gel to liquid as the wick's stem heats up, which is nice. They only last about an hour, not 90 minutes as advertised, but I'm still pleased with the overall experience. br>br>UPDATED UPDATE: UPDATED UPDATE: UPDATED UPDATE: UPDATED UPDATE: Because these aren't glass cups, the wicks must be adjusted straight up or the cups will melt!.
There was no box, just a bubble wrap bag. When I opened them up, they smelled so bad that we almost passed out. I kept the bag in the garage in the hopes that the odor would go away, but it did not. I'm not sure if they have bacteria on them or not, but I'm not going to light them in my house. It's a shame because they're the ideal size for our menorah, but we'll have to make do with regular candles this year. br>Last year, I found the right size on Amazon, but I couldn't find it this year. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS POISONOUS PRODUCT.
Because the little cups are plastic rather than glass, they begin to melt and stink after the wick has burned down a little.
These were a lot of fun to use during Hanukkah. Next year, I plan to purchase them.
There is a significant risk of fire. Not going to buy it again.
I didn't have to worry about them getting damaged in transit because the parrafin is sturdy.
