At the base of the candle, 6 6/16 inches equals 10 millimeters.
I'd say around 6 mm (or 1/4 inch).
Yes, they drip; I simply placed a piece of aluminum foil underneath to catch the drips.
I'd estimate 30 minutes for this and most other candles.

for years and it's a terrible product that used to be great. I've had my eye on Hanukkah candles for a while and have always admired how elegant they look in my menorah, so this year I purchased two boxes to give as gifts. What a blunder! br>br> br>br>Previously, the box had been divided into several sections, with the candles packed tightly enough that they did not move around. The ones I got today, on the other hand, have only one divider, and the candles are so loose in the box that, as you can see in the photo, wax has rubbed off and smeared on the cellophane front of the box, making it look like something from a dollar store that was tossed around. br>br>Also, only blue and white candles are supposed to be used, not some haphazard mix of the two. (Again, see photo) I made white candles with blue areas on them! br>br>Thank G_d, I still have a good box from last year that I had planned to use this year for myself. Instead, I'll have to give that one as a gift, keep one of these new fershtunkuna boxes for myself, and have nothing to give as a second gift, because these things are an embarrassment to give to anyone I care about. br>br>It goes without saying that I will not be purchasing The Dreidel Company this year. Candles for Hanukkah are being used once more.
I'd heard that freezing the candles prevents them from dripping and making a big mess. Tonight, I decided to freeze three and not freeze three (as seen in the video and photo labeled). (Woohoo!) The frozen ones didn't drip and make a huge mess. br>br>Those that I didn't freeze had issues. Because they would not stay lit, I had to replace them. The wick eventually burned out and couldn't be replaced. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the light to work. I took them out one at a time and replaced them. Two of the replacement candles burned well (circled in red), but there were wax piles all over my menorah as a result of their messiness. I tried a random candle I had leftover from last year (different brand) for the third one, and it burned clean and beautifully (the one not circled in the picture). br>br>So, unless I freeze all of these candles (which I intend to do right now), they don't burn well and are a pain to clean up. Otherwise, the wicks will burn to a crisp, and the Frozen candles will burn for much longer. br>br>Overall, I'm not a fan of these candles and will not purchase them again because they were difficult to light (especially for my children) and are messy, necessitating the additional effort of freezing them to make them less messy.
To be honest, I did an electric Menorah for a few years because it was more convenient. Since my son understands the meaning of Hanukkah, I wanted to use my metal menorah this year. We were not disappointed in the least by these candles. They fit into our family's traditional menorah and burned at a normal rate. We didn't have any issues with the colors blending or the candles appearing to be old, as some other reviews claimed. Overall, I would recommend these candles to anyone who does not have the time to go to their local Temple to get their candles. It was also extremely quick to get these out the door.
They're a little longer than most Hanukkah candles, and they don't seem to drip, which is a nice surprise.
They fit perfectly in my menorah, but one completely broke and another cracked, but I was still able to use it. There is still wax on the mantle, so they aren't completely drip-free. It was also difficult to keep some of them lit; some would burn out almost immediately after being lit, and I had to relight several times. They did stay lit for a long time once they were lit, but I wish they had included more than one additional candle.
They're easy to light, burn slowly and safely, and don't make a big mess!.
However, the image is deceiving. I was overjoyed to find rainbow colored candles for our menorahs because my oldest daughter is obsessed with rainbows, but I was disappointed when the three boxes of candles arrived and there was not a single yellow candle among them. Red, yellow, green, blue, and purple candles are prominently displayed in the photographs. I'm not looking forward to telling my oldest about this.
They have beautiful colors and burn for a long time, but they are difficult to light. The flame goes out after the exposed wick burns down. Because the stub of wick that remains is difficult to relight, the wax melts as you hold your flame to the candle for at least a minute. The wick eventually catches, but not as quickly as it should for a beautiful Hanukkah display.
