I'd had my eye on them for about a year and finally decided to purchase them. It took me about 30 seconds to put all three together, and they're now ready for use. They're not chipped or crooked in any way, and the bottoms are cushioned to protect your floors. They're slim and elegant, and I'd like to get more for other rooms in the house!.

3/4 candles do not fit! I rarely write reviews, but I believe that people should be aware that these candle holders do not fit 3/4 candles, as advertised. It's such a pain to buy something expecting it to work exactly as it should, but it doesn't. I have to take time out of my busy schedule to return the candle holders, which is extremely frustrating. And, just in case anyone was curious, I did purchase the proper size candles: 3/4.

I was very pleased with how the candle holders turned out. They're built to last. I was concerned about assembly after reading some of the other reviews, but it only took three steps and I was finished in less than five minutes. I'm definitely going to buy another set. When I told her the price and that I ordered them from Amazon, she couldn't believe it when I told her I bought them from Pottery Barn.

I returned to the original location. Due to the mixed reviews, I was on the fence about ordering these. Mine arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together! I'll say that each piece has a sticky piece of tape on each end that covers the screw part and is painted the same color as the candlestick. Fortunately for me, one of mine was loose, so I could see that it needed to be removed. I doubt I would have noticed if it wasn't for the fact that it was. If you don't peel all of those off first, you won't be able to screw them together; however, for the price, they're fantastic!.

It's been a few days since I've had it. It looked nice on our fireplace and bookcase at first, so I was happy with it. It has a slim profile and a very contemporary appearance. Two of the holders, however, were slightly bent, which irritated my OCD side. I couldn't get it completely straight no matter how much I twisted and tried. Furthermore, the metal component is easily scratched. Overall, the holders are attractive, but the quality is mediocre at best.

I give these candleholders a *reluctant* three-star overall rating, but if possible, I prefer to curve upwards rather than downwards on stars, which is certainly possible in this case given the horribly overpriced competition found in big department stores and specialty stores. br>br>Christmas has come and gone, and I'm already looking forward to next November. I literally live for the seasons of Autumn, Winter, and the holidays, so taking down my decorations, especially my window candles, always makes me sad. I use GE electric window candles, which are nice enough for the price, but the electrical cords are a pain, and if one of these falls over even by a few inches, it's a disaster. , and even if the bulb does not break, the fuse will blow, making them a bit of a pain to deal with, despite the fact that they look nice and are very bright when viewed from both outside and inside. br>br>I bought some flameless candles to replace the electric Christmas window candles because I am always hesitant to lose the warmth of glowing lights at night, and because I want to keep the electric window candles as the "special" ones used for Christmas. (In fact, I've developed a slight addiction to flameless candles. ) I'm serious. br>br>Although the flameless candles will stand alone in my windows, I wanted to raise them a little higher for a better effect, so I started looking at candleholders. I read a lot of mixed reviews on many of the brands available on Amazon before deciding to buy two sets of these Sujun candleholders in the Matte Black color. I believe that the prices charged by large department stores and specialty stores like Pottery Barn (and not just for candleholders) are excessive for what you get, i. e. They want near-heirloom prices for soulless, mass-produced items that are usually made in China and aren't well-made enough to be considered heirloom quality. Those who wish to spend their hard-earned money in such establishments are welcome to do so, but I would rather spend a lot more on fine antiques or a lot less on soulless, mass-produced items made in China, which are of mediocre quality at best but are priced much more reasonably for the average buyer. This is where the Sujun candleholders come in. br>br>First and foremost, I'd like to state that this minimalistic style is not one of my favorites. I'm drawn to antique furniture and decor. the more 19th-century century- The more I like the style, the better, but there was something about these candleholders that appealed to me. I believe their varied heights, small bases that would fit my window sills with room to spare, and matte black color that resembles cast iron won me over, and the price point was/is utterable without the buyer gasping and fainting. I bought two of them. Thankfully, they appear to be identical to the photographs. Second, the quality is merely adequate; however, I had not anticipated much more. You wouldn't expect to pay more than $5 for these candleholders if you saw them in a dollar store. The three-piece set will set you back $99 when purchased together. I'm not sure what kind of metal they're made of, but it's relatively light and looks like cast iron from afar. These candleholders, on the other hand, hold my flameless candles perfectly, and as long as they're kept out of harm's way, I'm happy. They should do their job well enough for a long time if they are placed somewhere where neither children, pets, nor clumsy adults like myself can knock them over; I may look for a clear matte acrylic spray to spray them with to help protect their surfaces because I can see the black colour chipping off fairly easily and fading if left in direct sunlight. Even the most delicate objects are destroyed by UV rays. I recommend that you handle them gently and infrequently. Because the bottoms aren't heavily weighted, I wouldn't use anything more than a barely damp, soft cloth to wipe away dust, and I'd only recommend flameless candles in these. Always take precautions to avoid fire. br>br>The end result is that (1) they look exactly like the photos and were simple to put together. Note that if one end of the stick does not seem to want to go in easily, turn the stick around and try the other end. Above all, be gentle and patient; none of the pieces are labeled because they are supposed to be universal, but I believe that different ends of the sticks work better with different cups and bases. If those who struggled with assembly did not try this, they should have. (2) If you keep them out of harm's way and handle them carefully, they should last a long time; however, a coat or two of a good acrylic spray to harden and protect their surfaces should help. Of course, spraying them with a clear acrylic spray increases their cost slightly, but it also significantly extends their useful life, so I believe it is worthwhile. I would also avoid exposing them to direct sunlight. Even the best-made items are fading in the sun. Clean with a soft, barely damp cloth and gently wipe dry with another soft cloth. While they adorn your tables, mantles, windowsills, and bookcases, that should be all the attention they require. br>br>These holders, in my opinion, are overpriced for what they are, and I wish they were *at least* 10 times heavier, but the style is both pleasing and functional, and if well cared for, they could last for years and years and still be worth something on the aftermarket if you ever decide to sell them. As a result, I wholeheartedly recommend them with these caveats, and I would buy them again until/unless I can find more beautiful and well-made vintage ones for a reasonable price; I might even buy two more sets of the Sunjun candleholders in Gold if I can get true Gold tone rather than Rose Gold, as many reviewers have reported that their Gold candleholders arrived Rose Gold. I like Rose Gold, but the same reason I bought two sets in Gold is why I chose black. They'd work with almost any color scheme all year, so I could use them year-round and even mix them in with seasonal holiday decor for Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving and Christmas. I agree with other reviewers who wrote that these candleholders look nice enough on their own without candles, but they look even better with the flameless candles that have moving "flames. " " Even during the day, the candles in these candleholders appear real from a distance, and at night in a room with low ambient lighting, they appear even more real. I like how the holders' height elevates the candles to make them stand out in a room's landscape, and how their tall, skinny profile allows them to fit into even tight spaces on small tables, buffets, window sills, and so on. They're also affordable, so they're good for the budget-conscious. However, don't expect old-school high quality here; you'll be disappointed. If you lower your expectations a little, I think you'll be pleased with these candleholders, and you'll be glad you saved the money you would have spent at a large department store or specialty store like Pottery Barn on a similar brand that was only slightly better. You can use the money you saved to buy some nice flameless candles to go with your Sujun candleholders, or you can use it to buy something else you need or want. Overall, and not to put too fine a point on it, these candleholders receive three stars and a fairly enthusiastic thumbs up from me for the reasons stated above. With Amazon's money-back guarantee, you really don't have much to lose if you want to return them and save a little time, effort, and tape, which isn't a bad bet, but I suspect you'll keep them and probably buy a few more sets.
