It is lovely and well-made

This set is even more beautiful in person than it appears in the photos. The matte black finish is elegant and flawless, and it appears to be long-lasting. There are no sharp or jagged spots, pits, chips, or flakes on any of the pieces, and they are all perfectly smooth with rounded edges. The welds are nearly undetectable. It's almost a waste to just put this metal object on a table because it's so lovely to touch. br>br>Assembly was simple, and I like that I was able to choose the contrasting heights myself (and that I can change them at any time). Some of the screw connections were difficult to complete and necessitated patience and a bit of wiggling. But I'd rather be too tight than too loose, and the unit feels solid when everything is in place.
