How big should the taper be?

I cut down standard 9" taper that I purchased on Amazon. I double-checked my order, and it stated that they are. 08”. They are, however, a tad loose.

Is this a standard taper candle size?

Yes, standard taper fits just fine.

I really like these candlesticks and would have given them 5 stars if they didn't have two molding lines pressed into the sides, which aren't noticeable at all.

I really like how heavy these items are! The weight makes it appear as if I should have paid more than $16! High-quality product that fits any standard candlestick perfectly. It has a very eerie feel to it. Love!.

It's ideal for historic home windows

I'm so glad I purchased these for our historic home's windows. They're a perfect fit for the sills and look period correct. I purchased battery-operated wax candles with a subtle flicker and set them all to timers. During the holiday season, we lit candles in our windows each evening. I've had a lot of fun with them. I've considered leaving them up all year because our home is historic and we live in a historic town. For our dining room table, I also purchased the larger version of these.

These are a little on the pricey side, but they're sturdy, attractive, and fit my primitive theme perfectly. They can also be used with other types of decor. This was a good buy.
