As it is packaged, the fragrance is fairly strong, but once the box is opened and we allow it to air out, it becomes much more pleasant to smell. There's a sticker on the back of the box, but it might be better placed on the bottom of the box where it would be less distracting to the gift presentation. To remember a loved one in such a thoughtful way is extremely moving. The person who receives this will appreciate it, I am sure.

A friend lost two significant relatives during the past year and got this as a holiday gift to commemorate them "being there in heart" with her during the holiday season. it was given to her to symbolize those losses "being there in heart". The size was bigger than I expected, but it was still I just wanted to give you a warning. When I first opened the package to wrap for my friend, there was a scent to it that took me back to those early days. (I have asthma) so it had to be put in another room. overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this product!.

We used it on a memorial table at our wedding for a groomsman who had been killed before It wouldn't have been worth the time, effort, and energy to send all those flowers, candles, etc. In the space I was not able to tell whether there was food. It is a candle that I got for my grandmothers and father-in-law to be able to place on their tables. My husband and I love it. The scent is very good, and the jar is lovely. It came quicker than what was indicated.

My friend recently lost her dad, so I gave her this candle as a gift. Her father was touched by the gesture, and she doesn't plan to light it, as it is a memorial. No candle had to be lit in order to smell the scent. I think it's an adorable gift.
