I understand that you do not have real candles in yours, but I cannot see why you can't use real ones
It's so cute to see the lanterns! A wedding required them to be placed in an apple tree. As the sun sets, they look beautiful glowing in the dark.
They do have little bendable tabs to hold the glass in place

White metal mini lanterns about the size of a glass votive are available in this type of container. The only downside is the latch on the door (at the base where a tea light is inserted) does not work well. It is easy to decorate them with holiday decorations, since I am so fond of these lanterns.
This tea light holder is just big enough to hold the tea light, but it does its job quite There should have been an easier way to get the candle into the little box, but since they are so tiny, it might have been hard to find a hinge door that would work. They need to be moved quickly when lit since the heat does travel, but other than that, these are fantastic.
We used these lanterns as the centerpiece at our engagement party, in combination with battery operated candles (separately available). There was a thin white shelf on top of the wainscoting in the dining room so the lanterns were arranged on it with white picture frames sized 4x6 and 5x7 strewn across it. This was a beautiful sight! I love the lanterns, they are well made, the only issue is that once you open the bottom to put the candle in you have to hold the bottom for a few seconds until you can put the lantern where you In order to function properly, they should sit at a fixed position.
The citronella tea lights were used around a table to set a refreshing ambiance. A lantern like this does not have a side opening, so it is difficult to light the candle before placing it inside. Getting the bottom piece to fit just right and hoping the flame wouldn't die wasn't easy. Toward the end of the cooking time, the tops were so hot they burned fingers, so you should handle them Using the light after hanging it, you need to handle it with care as the ring on top will be warm. This is exactly what they looked like from the photo and description, which was perfect for my needs.
The base held somewhat, but the threading didn't hold the base in properly, so if a candle were put in there it would be tilted. So I was going to ask for a replacement, but when I assembled the top part, the base did not hold in properly. These were not confined to the lantern I bought, but to the whole array of half a dozen. On top of this, I found out that my local craft store has better ones that actually work for half the price. These are flimsy and exceptionally poor quality for products that are made in China. In any case, these cheap lanterns would never be ordered from me You might even be able to fall into a coma if you left them hanging somewhere.
The total number of boxes that I purchased as gift favors for a bridal shower was six. The lanterns were not inspected until the night before the shower, which was quite a mistake on my part. In 30 out of 30 windows, one was missing a pane of glass during installation 6 others were painted flat white. It had the same glossy white finish as all the others, with imperfections on each box. The paint was smeared, the tealight holders bent, and there were chips in the paint. Just make sure you inspect the lanterns when you receive them rather than the night before your event. The lanterns are cute and I have received compliments on the table arrangements. I'm so sorry.
As a thank you to some volunteers I work with, I ordered several boxes of these to use as centerpieces for some events. Our tiny battery is powered by a tiny battery There is a tea light inside each of these cute As a result, the volunteers were happy to take them home with them.
It's unwise to try to pick them up with a candle inside, none would come out. Although they're really cute with tea light candles, the bottom piece that is removed to insert the tea light will not close properly so it's not advisable to do so.
