Hello, and thank you for contacting me with your inquiry. It's not electric, and it's for candles, but it's missing the candles. You are free to choose any type. However, because it is made of glass, the wind would get through if it were an open patio. It can, however, be easily removed and replaced. I hope this information is useful. Jackie
What is the scale of the occasion? It's about the size of a small car. It measures approximately 10 inches wide and hangs 25 inches from the ceiling.

Small, rustic (metal has a slight patina) with chunky tulip glass holders and simple crystals- This was precisely what I needed for our attic. I'm using LED tea lights that I can control from a distance. Actual wax tea lights were used in the photos. I was initially perplexed by the tulips, which tipped over and wouldn't fit in the metal bases, but I soon realized they are designed to twist in. Just be careful not to overtwist the metal tab, as this will cause it to warp. Overall, this is a cute purchase for a small space, patio, or other shabby chic setting.
This was purchased for use as a chandeliar in my craft booth. I was underwhelmed by the product, which appears to be very low-cost. It wouldn't be half bad if you could figure out a way to replace the glass around the candles. I would not recommend using candles in this product, and when I tried to return it, they demanded that I pay for shipping, which was an additional cost. So, to make use of it, I tossed it in my flower garden. Very let down.
Gorgeous. I purchased it to use under my archway at my wedding. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I also purchased some cute battery-operated candles to use in it. It's the ideal size, small enough not to overpower us beneath the arch but large enough to show off and look fantastic. I'll make an effort to remember to upload photos after the wedding. I can't wait to use it after the wedding and keep it as regular decor in my home. This purchase has made me very happy.

It cost me around $35. I believe it is only worth about half of that. It shouldn't cost more than $10 or $12 because of its size. The crystals are glass, but they're tiny, just like the fixture. It's a tiny thing. Beautiful, but tiny.
Very cute chandelier, much smaller than it appears in the photo, but it's perfect for over my tub, and I added a few crystals to dress it up a little. Nonetheless, despite the fact that this item was not on Prime, it arrived at my house in a reasonable amount of time (2 days). I was grateful to the seller for this. Not bad for the price, and don't forget to pay attention to the glass screws! 😉.
