I'm not sure why, but I hung it from the top of my metal frame. No problem with a canvas 12' gazebo. It's great because it doesn't weigh more or less than expected.

Amazon reviews are starting to lose their credibility for me. This item received high ratings, but it turned out that only the one star ratings were accurate. This thing appears to be quite small, and it does not even adequately fill the space of a 10x10 gazebo. It also does not appear to be attractive. It also emits almost no light, even at its highest setting, so it can only be used as a decorative item. The hanging chain is short, and the fake crystals appear to be of poor quality. There's also the issue of batteries to consider. 2 C's are required. Batteries in each of the four candles can add up quickly; I spent $45 on rechargeable batteries and a charger (so factor that in). The remote control only works when you're really close to it, and it's tiny - It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it'll be a pain if you lose control, which appears to be simple. Finally, I returned the item, as well as the batteries and charger. Even if it costs $150 or more, I'd rather have a product that looks crappy and doesn't light up enough to see what's on your plate than one that looks crappy and doesn't light up enough to see what's on your plate.
This was purchased to go in a gazebo that we recently constructed on our back deck. It gave the room a classy feel. The timer feature is one of my favorite features. We turned them on at 7 p. m. , and they turn off after a few hours before turning back on at the same time every night. We have it hanging quite high in the gazebo, and turning them on and off would require a ladder. br>br>We have it hung as a chandelier, but it comes as two sconces that easily connect. br>br>Since we installed it, we've had rain nearly every day, and it's held up admirably. This is something I strongly suggest.
This chandelier has made a big impression on me. It's straightforward, but it accomplishes the task at hand. My only criticism is that the flameless candles are dimly lit. The backyard remains dimly lit. Overall, it adds a nice aesthetic touch to our outdoor pergola, and the price is very reasonable. In general, I'm pleased. The instructions were a little vague, but with a little common sense, it was easy enough to install once I figured out which parts go where, etc. Do not buy this with the intention of using it as your only source of outdoor lighting; you will need additional lighting outside.
I'll be able to enjoy it for a long time. When it was first shown, it was a huge hit. You will not be disappointed with your purchase.
It looks great in my room. I had been looking for something similar to this. I wanted a non-electric chandelier, and the price was better because it came with candles and a remote. I added a strand of crystals to dress it up a bit because it was looking a little plain with only a few crystals. However, this is definitely more for aesthetics than for actual light! It's worth noting that it only emits a small amount of light. However, it's ideal for the overall atmosphere I wanted to create in my garage bedroom. The final touch was flawless.
I bought this in black to use as a chandelier in our outdoor gazebo and couldn't believe how cheap it was. It's a three-in-one chandelier, which means it came with two separate sconces that you could combine or use separately. We chose to use them together, but there were no pieces included to connect the two sconces. As a result, it hangs oddly, and the two sconces occasionally separate from one another. br>br>We weren't expecting the lighting to be as bright as it is, but it barely produces anything! It's purely decorative because turning on the light has little, if any, effect on the surrounding area. br>br>It's not overly heavy. The remote control is The timer feature is useful, and the long chain is useful for accessibility. It has a nice elegant look for being so inexpensive, and it has been hanging outside beneath our gazebo for about 2 months now, through rain and wind. We would have exchanged or returned it for a new one if we hadn't tried to put it together until around 4 p. m. I assumed they wouldn't accept the return/exchange because it was 5 weeks after I opened it and I had already thrown away the box it came in. I suppose I could have tried anyway, given Amazon's excellent reputation for customer service, but I knew it was our fault and decided not to. Overall, a fantastic decoration piece that can withstand the elements. br>br>*** Just keep in mind that the lighting is very dim, so don't buy it if you expect it to brighten up a room a lot. ***.
This outdoor chandelier is lovely; it has a timer, crystal chandeliers, and is simple to assemble. It exceeded my expectations in every way. However, each candle requires two "C" batteries, which I luckily had on hand. It would have been so disappointing to unpack and put together only to discover that I didn't have the batteries to test it out.
For our deck, I ordered it in white. The deck is small, so this light is ideal; it's well-made and hasn't been harmed by the elements. The candles are in sync with the present, lighting up at the same time each evening. They are set to turn off after 4 hours, but don't expect much from the remote control; mine is useless. However, the remote control is not required. The light is a lovely addition that adds to the overall ambience.
