It should be fine as long as the balls aren't too large or heavy; I made my own beaded decorations, but they're light. For the price, this item appears to be well-made and has some weight. Other than fish line, I would hang it with something else. I went with a light-colored palette. I used a weight chain from Home Depot and a toggle/screw hanging hook. I hope this has been of assistance.
It was given to me as a present. So I'm not sure how long the chain was, but I believe it was around 2 or 3 feet long.
This isn't on my bedside table. It is, however, lightweight and sturdy, and I see no reason why it should fall on your head if you use properly fitting candles in the holders. However, because the chain is around 36 inches long, you may need to shorten it.

I'm not sure what these reviewers are referring to. The chandelier I received is a beautiful off-white color. I had to remove the bottom piece so that I could spread it out, then aligned the three holes with the three little poles and it was perfect. I added crystal chandelier drops from Amazon, which come in packs of 30 and were just enough. I purchased a set of ten LED candles and will most likely use the toilet paper trick suggested by another reviewer. I love the final product, but it was already lovely before the crystals were added. I'm not sure why the pictures are so bad because some of them don't look anything like the others. Mine isn't even slightly crooked. I think the candles could have been a little brighter, but that's just me. I really like the final product and would have paid more for it if I could; it's not a waste of time or money, so ignore the few negative reviews. They need to take a better picture of this lovely chandelier because it does not resemble the one in the photo. It's a lovely off white, and mine is completely free of any green tint. If people could see what the real thing looks like, I'm sure they'd run out of stock, and I'm happy with mine.
It lived up to expectations after reading the other reviews. The color is a grayish white, and while it appears nice from a distance, it appears cheap up close. When you look up at the item, there's an empty circle at the top that you can see. We used a decorative blue knob from the hardware store and some putty to fill it.
So far, it appears to be solid, but it is unmistakably white, not the gold described and depicted in the image. It appears to be fine, but I despise the fact that they misled me. I'm thinking of spray painting it gold. But I'm not sure I want to go to all that trouble when it should have come in the color described. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> So I'm thinking about returning it, but since it's from Canada, shipping it back will be twice as expensive. I'll call their customer service number once more, but it's already gone to voicemail three times. br>br>2nd Update: br>br> When I tried to call again, I received a voicemail message. This is the fourth voicemail I've left, and I've yet to receive a callback. I now believe they do so on purpose to make returns impossible while giving customers a false sense of security when they purchase. This seller will be reported to the authorities. br>br>3rd revision: I called Amazon customer service and they eventually refunded me for the return shipping, but it took four phone calls, with me initially paying for shipping and providing customer service with a tracking number and a copy of the receipt. Irrational.
The seller stated that the item was made of cast iron. Mine isn't cast iron, so it doesn't appear to be as old as it is. It is constructed of a lightweight metal. I'll have to fill holes in the welds before painting because they're a little sloppy. The image I saw showed a gold chandelier, but it was actually an off white cream color. It will work as the decoration I intended it to be once I finish fixing and painting it, but the description is very misleading.

I bought it after seeing it in person. When my mother passed away, I got my mother's candle chandelier. My mother's looks exactly like the one in the picture. The one I got looked nothing like the one in the photo. It looked similar, but it was made of less expensive materials, was more linier than oval, and the color was nothing like the picture. Regardless, I decided to keep it because it will be in a different neighborhood than my mother's.
This is absolutely perfect; I was afraid it would be flimsy, but it is sturdy and took only a few minutes to put together. I don't like the color, but it's something I can easily change. I wanted something nice to hang above my large tub, but I didn't want to pay an electrician to run wires so it could hang and hold candles. br>br>I looked everywhere for something similar but the prices were ridiculous, so I was about to give up when I saw the reviews on this one and decided to take a chance. br>br>Because of the reviews, I've had great success with Amazon purchases, and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to write reviews so the rest of us know what we're getting.
Although the leaves were attractive, many of them were bent. It was purchased with the intention of upcycling it into a lovely gothic chandelier, and it now adorns the room in which it now resides.
