Yes.
They are fantastic, and I no longer use the old ones! They seem to pick up everything for me, and they stay on the pad until you throw it away! They're in the bathroom, kitchen, front door area, and laundry room, among other places. Dust, lint, dirt, and plant leaves are all picked up in all rooms. I even clean the floor and crown molding by tilting the pad diagonally and sweeping across them! However, I notice a lot of dirt and dust in the middle, as well as hairs!
The only difference appears to be the presence of Febreeze freshener in the Pet refills. There is a cat in our household. The Heavy Duty refills are a favorite of ours. They don't have any fragrance.
No, I'm not convinced. They sweep with a separate broom-style sweeper that is not powered.

They're fantastic! br>I have a Pomeranian dog who sheds a lot, as well as two cats. br>I live near a major highway as well. br>With this one pad, I was able to collect the following. Is it necessary for me to sweep on a regular basis? Who, after all, does it? I do it every third day unless something comes up, in which case I do it every day. br>The new pads took me by surprise. It's described as "large and fluffy" on the packaging. They aren't, to be sure. However, they collect at least twice as much dog dander as the standard brand. br>Purchase them. YOU WILL BE PROUD OF YOURSELF FOR DOING SO!.
He's an Englishman who displays vacuum cleaners - Take a look at it. So watching him got me in the mood to clean, and even though it's still hot outside, it's time for fall cleaning, so I decided to order a whole bunch of Swiffers at once. I can compare them in real time rather than relying on memory because I received them all at once. So. anyway. br>br>These Heavy Duty Swiffers appear to have been made by accident at the factory. They have the standard texture with globs of fuzziness stuck to the fabric. Those fuzzy bits do pick up a lot of dust, especially dirt. Instead of being grey, the cloth was almost black. They also have a much easier time gliding across the floor. Small, fuzzy pieces do fall off, but they are so small that I could feel grit here and there as I Swiffered, but I only saw one tiny piece. It didn't bother me, but I could see how it might irritate others. Those individuals may want to go over it again with a flat cloth, even if it is the brand x kind. Even if it's only once or twice a week, I believe they'd benefit more from using the heavy duty first. br>br>I haven't done anything with them yet. br>br>I DO NOT LIKE THAT FOR THE SAME PRICE, YOU GET SO FEWER OF THESE HEAVY DUTY CLOTHES THAN THE REGULAR CLOTHES, SO I WILL USE THE REGULAR CLOTHES MORE OFTEN AND THESE ONCE IN A WHILE. However, if I had pets, it would most likely be the other way around.
We have cat litter grit on the floor (in small specks), which the original Swiffer pads couldn't get rid of. These are thick and absorb a lot of liquid. They're a huge improvement on the originals in my opinion.
Do these clothes work as well as the original Swifter Dry ones? Yes and no, because I live in a home with only hardwood floors. My two daughters and I all have long, dark hair, even though we don't have any pets. I believe we shed as much as a family of pets: o) As a result, my Swifter dry mop is a lifesaver, and I use it on a daily basis in the bedrooms and the house's main thoroughfares. What are the advantages of these new "heavy-duty" pads, according to the pros? 1) They are wider (from left to right on the mop head) so that the pad extends beyond the mop on both sides. That works for me because the original Swifter pads were sometimes too narrow, curling up on the mop's edges and exposing the plastic mop head, leaving dirt and lint behind. 2) The improved mop pads have thicker white "puffs" that fit better under and between furniture than the original pad. Anyone who has hardwood floors knows that dust can collect under the bases of furniture and chairs, where it is difficult to reach, especially if the bases of the furniture are protected by floor protector pads. These new, thicker pads get into all those little nooks and crannies where the little pads lift the furniture off the floor just enough for dust to get trapped beneath it. Because of these factors, I prefer the new mop pads. They also pick up hair and dust on tile floors a BIT better than the original pads, which just pushed dirt and hair around my tile bathroom floor. Do they collect more dirt in general than the original pads? No - The amount of dust and lint they collect is the same. However, they perform slightly better on tile, and their larger size entices me to purchase them again.
I was overjoyed to discover these because I have a Labrador Retriever who sheds a lot. The hair was not picked up by the heavy duty pad when I cleaned. Instead, it squished it and left clumps all over the place. Cleaning is only possible on one side of the pads. I'm going to stick with the regular 2 sided. Such a letdown.
When I first saw one of these advertised, I was skeptical. They're absolutely incredible. When I walk around my apartment in my bare feet, I can tell the difference! Tonight, I'm a little more fond of my cats!.
I really like these new pads because they pick up dog fur on the edges and in the middle, as well as dirt, whereas the other heavy duty pad only picked up on the edges.
As someone who frequently uses the original, I think these are far superior. Definitely worth the extra cost.
