I've had it for about the same amount of time as its predecessor. Although I preferred the predecessor, I have grown to appreciate this mop head now that I have become accustomed to it. br>At my house, we're a little rough on mops. I manage rental properties and keep a large supply of mops on hand. I need to be able to take the head off and wash it. I was taken aback when I saw O- Because I do it, Cedar, this was not possible with this mop. It's not difficult, and I wash the mop in the front loader every time I use it. br>I save one for my 3/4-inch hardwood floor. I have about 3000 square feet of real hardwood flooring that is in excellent condition. It also works well on tile, leaving a nice shine without any dull filming. br>It's used once a week by my housekeeper, but I don't think she enjoys it as much as I do. So it's just a matter of taste? However, I enjoy being able to mop a large area of floor in a short amount of time! br>Another plus for me is that we live on acreage, which is dusty, and we bring a lot of dirt and sand in, so we sweep and mop every other day. It does a fantastic job with sand and dirt. I like that I can toss it in the washing machine. br>I came here to buy a replacement head, and I was surprised to see how many people didn't like it when I read the reviews. I'll take pictures as soon as I get my new head.
The mop head is a fantastic addition. The zip tie method of attachment is absurd. Make sure the red piece that slides up and down is securely fastened. You can use a large zip tie to secure it if you want to. However, if the mop is wet, this is not a viable option. Please do not allow this to occur. Just make sure the mop head's bottom is connected to the red piece. The water from the mop head is wrung out in this manner. If you can do that, the mop is far superior to any other I've tried. I don't have a carpet in my home, but I use it on three different types of flooring. You can use this with hot water and wring it dry enough so that it doesn't soak your wood flooring, but it still gets the job done. So it's a decent mop with a low-cost attachment system - However, it's one that you're likely to have in your garage and can easily replace.
So you'll have it when the mop head that came with the mop wears out or needs to be washed. In addition, washing, detachment, and reattachment Both the Twist Mop and the refills come with installation instructions, so if the mop's original instruction sleeve is lost, you'll have a backup set of instructions for removing and replacing the mop head with a new clean refill.
The refills for this mop are a shambles. A ZIP TIE is used to hold it together. Is this for real? I paid almost $30 for the original mop, and now I'm getting a replacement. It was held together with a ZIP tie and immediately rotted. For almost two years, I've had the mop and the original head. I'm furious that I had to replace the head. It would have been better if I had simply kept it. the part of the bottom that attaches to the base Continually falls off It's not the mop head that comes with the stick that's the issue. Simply repurchase the entire package. Replacements are a waste of time. With the stick, you get an extra $5.
This isn't a mop that doesn't need to be touched. This mop head was something I really wanted to fall in love with. It was thick, so it was assumed to do the job. br>br>Here are a few things to consider: br>br>To put it on and take it off, you must wrestle with the mop head. As if you were playing a twister game. As a result, it was extremely difficult to use. You can't even get this mop wet. br>br>Cleanliness in the negative. br>br>You can't even get this mop wet. We have vinyl floors, so we can't use damp mops. This is what you'll get if you buy it. The floor was drenched to the point of being unusable. To dry the floor, I had to use fans.
I adore this mop, but I had the same issue as the other negative reviewers: the zip tie that keeps one end functioning is so dry that it snapped and broke off right away. Unless you replace the zip tie (which I did), the mop head is rendered useless. It shouldn't be necessary to do so with a brand new item.
In theory, this is a fantastic mop, but the results are far from ideal. When I was (carefully) replacing the mop head as instructed in the instructional video, the flimsy zip tie at the top snapped, rendering the mop head essentially useless. The cap that secures the top of the mop to the stick pops off every time I turn it to wring out the water, even when I hold the mop at the neck where the zip tie is broken. Every time I immerse the mop in the bucket, I have to screw it back on and very gently wring it. It's the most vexing piece of garbage I've ever encountered. Purchase a different product.
This is the third time I've purchased one of these mop heads. They've all broken after a few uses and a machine wash, and they're starting to look ragged. It's time to try something new.
