I chalked it up to a fluke when the first refill broke after only one use. Then I put on the second refill, and it broke in the EXACT same spot and in the EXACT same way after two full uses. I'm not a rough mop user; I've been using this brand for a long time and have never had this problem. I believe these were defective; $20 may not seem like much to most people, but as a single mother of four daughters, it's money better spent on something I know will last more than one use. It's a shame, because I'd be buying these all the time if this hadn't happened!.

I've been using these mop heads for years in my cleaning business and have never had a problem, so when I saw them on Amazon in a value pack *I bought 'em* X2(3 packs=6) I got to use 2 out of 6 and the other 4 fell apart after only a few passes on the job. Not only did I lose money, but I also wasted time and energy trying to figure out which two of the four would be the most useful.

Two of the three mop heads had been harmed. Because the mop head isn't in the right shape and the mop stick isn't enclosed, the green strip of fabric that holds the mop fibers together was cut in half, causing the mop handle to scratch the floor.
