I'm not sure, but it appears to be a good size and sturdy for small jobs or places. Despite the fact that I bought it for my granddaughter, I've used it in place of my larger broom on numerous occasions.
The broom arrived today, and it does not appear to be manufactured in the United States. On the handle is a label that reads "MADE IN MEXICO."
I didn't see one with this broom, but I did see some with small dustpans.

When the gift arrived, the broomstick had a "HECHE EN MEXICO" label on it, which was a major letdown. This broom is not made in the United States, according to the product description. Others may have received brooms made in the United States, but that was NOT our product, and since I have no idea what the safety standards are for the paint or other components of the broom when used by children, this gift will almost certainly have to be returned.
A sharp metal wire protruded from the item. The bristles on the broom were frayed, torn, and bent in places, and it appeared as if they would fall apart if used. The stitching on this item is shoddy. With toddlers or adults cleaning or even pretending to clean, this broom would be broken in no time.
I took a star off because I had to drill my own hole and find a way to make a loop for it, despite how much I love it. (I went with red twine, which is actually quite cute!) While the drilling produced the desired result, a hole, the other side splintered slightly, requiring some sanding to smooth it out. I'm no drill expert, so it could very well have been user error on my part, but it's a bit of a letdown that I had to do anything at all (first-world problems, right?). While I removed a little paint with the sanding, I must admit that it is still red there, so it has that going for it. Let's get to the review, shall we? (Of course, this is after a brief backstory. ) )br>br>I bought this for myself because I have a hard time bending over for long periods of time and I needed a broom for the landing at the bottom of the stairs. I had a small brush and dustpan hanging on the coat rack, which worked fine, but bending down to sweep the floor and clean the grooves in the welcome mat was becoming too difficult. The landing is probably big enough for a regular-sized broom to stand in the corner, but I've met my dog, and the first time I went outside for three seconds, he'd knock it over, pinning the door shut against the stairwell. This is the ONE and ONLY way into my apartment. It would also obstruct someone's ability to hang their coat or umbrella, so I knew I didn't want it. Every day, I'd look at the filth and tell myself that I needed to clean it up. But then it occurred to me that I had a brilliant idea! What if I had a longer broom that I could use and hang up at the same time? And now we've arrived. br>br>Apart from the whole thing (don't even get me started! ), ), it's actually quite perfect! The bristles are nice and stiff, so it does a WAY better job of cleaning the grooves in that mat with MUCH less effort on my part! I wasn't sure it would work as well as a regular broom, but all the positive reviews convinced me to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did! I looked at a few different styles and decided that the old-fashioned one was my favorite. This style has a vintage feel to it, and the shape and bristle material are perfect for getting those wacky mat grooves! The majority of the others I looked at were essentially toys, and they were all more expensive than this one! This one is identical to a standard-issue cigarette. a medium-sized corn bristle broom with STRONGLY reinforced bristles a solid wood handle, and a lot of holdy things- only a fraction of the original size I believe this guy will serve me well, but for the price, I don't mind how long it lasts because I'll just keep buying them- Despite the fact that I'll have to drill a few more holes! I would strongly suggest it.
Durability: br>Durability: 5/5br> br>Value for money: 5/5br> 4 out of 5 starsbr>Overall: br>Recommend: 5/5br>br> Yes, I bought this broom for the bathroom on the second floor. We keep the kitty box up there so the dogs can't get to it, but this means litter ends up on the floor from time to time. I didn't require a full-sized broom for the area, but I did want a separate broom because I didn't want the litter broom to be used elsewhere in the house. I also didn't want a plastic broom; instead, I wanted something that would decompose once it was no longer useful. br>br>This broom is designed to be used as a weapon. It's very sturdy, and it feels just as tough as full-size corn brooms I've used in the past. It reaches all the way under the claw foot tub and is just the right size for getting into tight spots. My only two complaints are as follows: br>br> 1) I believe that because this broom is 1/3 the size of a full broom, it should cost slightly less than 1/2 the price, but yadda yadda fast shipping and the awkward shape make this a pointless gripe; I can literally not find this item in my town, and 2) the only real complaint is that the handle should have a predrilled hole in it so it can be hung. I understand why it didn't have a hole because it was designed as a toddler toy. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please br>br>Buy the broom if you're on the fence. This is a tiny thing that I absolutely adore.
The quality, on the other hand, isn't particularly good. The wire is held in place with an angle nail. It has a jagged edge to it. I'm not concerned about my son's safety, but it does appear to be poorly constructed. The bristles are prone to breaking. Cleaning them up isn't difficult, but given how much has already been removed, I'm not sure how long the broom will be usable. It's been three months since we got it, and it's starting to look scraggly.
Our 20- This little broom is a hit with our month-old grandson, and we love it as well. On a daily basis, he cleans the kitchen! It's exactly what the seller said it would be. We're going to get him another one.
It's a sweet broom, the perfect size for a toddler to "assist Grandma" with! The paint job on the wooden handle, on the other hand, isn't very good. The red enamel is marred by black streaks and small chips. The label, on the other hand, is the most aggravating! In the photo above, I've already spent 10 minutes attempting to remove it, scraping off teeny tiny pieces with my fingernail. If it weren't for the impossibility of the situation, If the label had been removed, the score would have been a 4. Why, oh why, do companies slap on obnoxious labels that are impossible to remove?.
This tiny broom is fantastic! My little one is an excellent helper, but attempting to use mama's broom proved disastrous! This is a miniature version of my broom, which is far superior to the cheap plastic toys. My toddler is almost two years old, and this is the perfect size for his hands and height. The broom arrived in a flash and is now used on a daily basis! Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic product!.
