Although I do not own a cat, I believe it would suffice. The bristles aren't at all fragile.
Because of the stiff bristles, I believe it would work well for pet hair, but I haven't tried it yet.
It's made of a plastic material. If exposed to heat, it will almost certainly melt, and if exposed to flame, it will almost certainly burn. So, no, it isn't fire-resistant!

I bought this to sweep cat litter, like many other readers. My cats use a window flap to gain access to the litter box, which is housed in an outdoor wooden structure. Because the floor is made of 2x4s, litter particles tend to collect in cracks and along the window sill. They couldn't be removed with a regular whisk broom. This brush is extremely effective, and the litter does not adhere to the bristles. The bristles are plastic and stiff, but not stiff enough to make the brush difficult to control. This brush is almost too large to use in a confined space (the bristles and handle are both quite long), so keep that in mind. I'm pleased with my purchase, and I can see how this brush could be useful in a variety of situations.
Because it has stiff bristles, I like this broom for cleaning out the car. They aren't, however, overly rigid. Exactly what the doctor ordered. That is why I purchased it, and I am very pleased with it.
This small broom is very appealing to me. I've been using a different whisk broom, but it sheds so much that I have to spend extra time cleaning it up. This is both sturdy and flexible, making it easy to clean. It collects everything from dust to larger debris with no shedding. This broom comes highly recommended by me.
When you do find one, it will fall apart in your hands due to the fact that they are all made in China for a low price. Libman has once again delivered a superior product! The handle is comfortable to hold, and the rigid exploded-view design is durable. Cleaning dirt and pebbles from the floorboards is a breeze with tip bristles. This whisk was purchased for my work truck, but I plan to purchase additional whisks for my personal vehicles. Thanks!.
I got it for my new car and I'm really happy with it. The bristles are of good quality and haven't broken yet while I've been sweeping the carpet in the car.
It's a good product, and it's well-made. I didn't need the dustpan that came with the broom because it was identical. The package arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Many new cars have vinyl flooring instead of carpet, and this small brush can be tucked into any nook and used to brush sand or crumbs from the seats and floors. I use a mobility scooter that I transport in my car, and before loading it back into my vehicle, I clean the wheels and base of the scooter with this small brush. It is well-made and durable. It's ideal for small spaces, in my opinion.
