The broom that arrived today has been photographed and posted. I paid more for a version of this popular type of broom because I trusted the quality and reputation of the brand. I was, however, mistaken. To demonstrate, I've included images of the broom that arrived today. The first illustration depicts how the broom should appear and be assembled. The frayed and incomplete stitching can be seen in the second photo, while the obvious flaw in this item can be seen in the third. This large protrusion is a rough, rather sharp protrusion that creates a significant hollow, weak spot in the section's core. br>I'll use it because I recycled the large box it came in right away- I also tossed my old broom in today's pick-up before realizing the broom had major issues. br>I can't recommend paying $30 for a broom that appears to be made with less care and attention to detail than a $15 version. What a letdown!.
I'm sick of brooms from the dollar store. Some of them sweep adequately, but cheap aluminum handles are never durable. Last year, I went through a couple - more than the cost of purchasing this O- This broom isn't flashy. br>br>It's a cedar beast. br>br> Something similar was used by your forefathers and mothers. It's only a matter of time before - Corn straw is dense and evenly distributed throughout the structure. Overkill in terms of stitching and wire neck reinforcement. The handle is even thicker than it appears in the product images. It's nicely lacquered, smooth, and versatile enough to double as a melee weapon if you're accosted while sweeping sand and dog hair, which is our standard floor covering around here. Choose this broom to prepare for shedding season, the unidentified gunk that kids track in over summer vacation, and civil unrest.
This broom's handle was severely bent/angled, and the broom itself contained an animal/insect nest. Once I saw that, I knew this was going to be an outside broom! It's too difficult to return. Instead, go to Freddie's and get one. For essentially the same thing, you can get it for half the price.
Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to sweep our deck, porch, and steps with this convenient and well-made broom. rather than listen to the obnoxious sound of a blower, I made a broom. It even has a nice appearance. br>br>It was well packaged and arrived on time.
It's extremely sturdy, with a velvet ring around the metal piece at the handle's base. Velvet? I'd cocoon myself in velvet if it were morally permissible. a broom, on the other hand? It's almost too good to be true- as if he were a tuxedo-clad broom However, I'm going to put it to good use-- and how. I've swept the porch, patio, garage, walkway, driveway, and driveways of my neighbors- I'm on the lookout for sweeping opportunities. It has a lovely sweep to it. The corn husks are stitched on in five rows of black heavy duty thread, and the handle is sturdy and substantial. The black paint on the handles is extremely well-done. done- This is a high-end Halloween prop that could be used. Obviously, O'Cedar put a lot of thought into these. thought- out-of-the-box thinking, high-quality materials, and a sense of pride in one's work. This would be my preferred mode of transportation if I were a witch.
This is what is known as a "real" broom, for those of you still using those wimpy plastic brooms that don't actually sweep anything. It's the same broom that my mother used, that Grandpa used in the shed, and that I used when my children were young. It's long and wide, with a lot of weight to it. ish, all those corn stalks are held together by FIVE rows of strong stuff. This is the genuine article. Did I mention it sweeps everything and puts it back where it belongs? You won't require another broom in your life.
After looking in all of the stores in my area, I decided to order it from Amazon. I couldn't seem to locate one. They only had wimpy, small, or plastic brooms to offer. Following the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. It's big and strong, and it gets the job done well. I would strongly suggest it! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 2/25/16 I've been using this broom on a daily basis and it's held up admirably. It's kept its shape and hasn't worn down at the edges like so many other brooms. It continues to make me happy.
Cedar Broom, as well as every other broom I've ever owned. This one is about 150% larger than your average drug store broom (longer handle, wider and taller bristles) and it is really solid built. I got this for my husband s art He claims that this broom will clean up the plaster dust as well as everything else more thoroughly. If you like this style of broom, don't buy anything else.
