This product has an awful odor to it. The so- The scent, dubbed "open window fresh," is a strong floral perfume that lingers and does not wash off. DISCLAIMER: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! You can't even take it back! If I could, I'd give it a zero.
For the first time, I used this instead of sweeping, using the Swiffer Jet, and then using my Bissel steam mop to clean my floors. That process takes a long time, and SJ isn't as effective as it should be. Our house isn't that dirty; it's just that we have a GSD who brings a lot of dirt in with him. br>br>Our house isn't that dirty; it's just that he brings a lot of dirt in with him. We always wipe his paws, but that isn't enough, so we use a three-step cleaning process. br>br>However, what I liked best about the cleaning pads is that they are fully saturated in the solution, so you don't have to clean with damp pads. If you ask me, this is a huge plus. The only complaint I have is that it leaves a film on the floor after it has been cleaned. Also, after a week, I'd need about 2-dozen pads (12 count). 3 which isn't a flaw in the product, but it is for me because I will have to buy more frequently to keep the house in good repair. In terms of cost-effectiveness, I'm not convinced. I still intend to use these, but I'll have to come up with a more cost-effective alternative so that they don't end up costing too much.
With so many people stuck at home and preoccupied with cleaning, local stores had run out of this product. projects to be completed Sweep the floor with a regular broom, collect the debris with a dustpan, and then sweep the smaller, finer dust particles with the Swiffer sweeper.
These are effective at cleaning up messes, but they are extremely wet (to the point of soaking) and tend to leave a sticky residue on whatever surface they are used on. I have to go over the area with a dry cloth every time to try to get some of the liquid off the ground.
The swiffer wet clothes disappointed me a little. They appeared to be larger and thicker than the ones I had previously used. My cleaner pad was constantly losing the cloth. They did, however, do a good job of cleaning the floor.
Update: The second container had a lot of liquid/saturation on the pads, so I bought it a second time. The second order turned out to be excellent! br>br>Not as saturated as other store packages I've purchased. I'm not sure if this is an old batch of product that has started to dry up or if this is a one-off package. Normally, there is an excess of cleaning solution in the container, which provides a lot of moisture to the cleaning pads for cleaning the floors.
It quickly and easily cleans floors. It's also quick to dry. It won't stay on my jet spry Swifter very well, but as long as you keep it down on the floor, it will. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it to get your floor clean quickly. My daughter cleaned under the fridge when it was moved, and she was amazed at how well it cleaned that filthy area. Refrigerators that haven't been moved in a long time are hiding under them. I'm not sure if the spray jet version or this one works better. However, in my opinion, this one is much easier to use.
I like how easy it is to use the pads, but it can get expensive if your floors are extremely dirty.
