It does have an auto-shutoff feature. It's a wonderful blanket that's plush and soft and has a variety of settings. The twin was on sale at the time, so I got it. My only regret is that I did not purchase a larger size because I have to share the blanket with a small Jack Russell!
Multi-purpose tool that is simple to use. (King Size has Dual Controls) setting controller
Yes. It appears to have a one-year expiration date. It's a lovely blanket, to be sure. It's super soft and warms up quickly.
You are not one of them. As a result, I will never give them my money again. They sold me three blankets, and after a month, they all did this.

What a waste of money; I bought it in June and, of course, didn't use it until the winter arrived. One side of the device was blinking and not working after it was placed on the bed and hooked up. I unplugged it and double-checked the connections, which are virtually impossible to get wrong in the first place, but the problem persisted, with one or both sides blinking within ten minutes. It will take 20 minutes. I was disturbed to discover that, despite the controls being turned off, they turned on on their own after a power outage. Sunbeam's great warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on; after paying postage for a king-sized blanket and waiting a few chilly months for them to fix it, it usually comes back with the same problem, and you've frozen in the bitter Maine winter. I swore I was done with Sunbeam after the last two I bought didn't even last a year, and now I'm kicking myself for falling for another. So here we are, with temperatures dropping to 8 degrees at night, and I'm once again left with a faulty blanket. I recall having 6-foot electric blankets from Sunbeam. After ten years, they now appear to be a throwaway item after only a few months of use, which is extremely disappointing.
It is a big hit with my cats. br>br>CON: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place The blinking lights are not mentioned in the instructions. I had to look into the possibility that it was a safety issue involving the wires not connecting properly and/or overheating (though I checked and nothing was overheating). To heat up, the layers are stacked one on top of the other. br>br>After weeks of trial and error, I had to settle on one setting of 7 and the other of 3, then fold them into a single-folded sheet. 3 would blink, while 7 would stay on the entire night. It makes no sense why it blinks when it's laid out and not overheated, but it works better when folded in half. However, that is how I was able to get it to work well enough for the winter.
The blanket stops working when washed, regardless of what the care instructions say. Worse yet, you may receive one that appears to have been previously used. I've purchased this blanket three times and had to return it twice within a month, both times through Amazon. You might believe that the first blanket lasted a long time. It didn't work out either. I had to contact Sunbeam directly because it died before the 5-year warranty expired. The cords inside will be damaged if they are washed. It's just the way things are right now. It's nice as a regular blanket, but it's not worth the money spent on a heated blanket. I've finally realized my mistake and will no longer purchase a Sunbeam.
The color was fantastic. Warmth was provided by the blanket. Review has been updated - The blanket has ceased to function. This blanket did not last as long as I had hoped. I have an 85-year-old father who requires a warm blanket at night, and now I must spend another $100?.
When I looked it up on the internet, I discovered that it isn't unusual at all, and that all you have to do is unplug it and then plug it back in to reset it. I haven't used it above Lo yet, but once it does, I'm hoping it will be able to go even higher. Patience is required here. It is extremely comfortable and warm, even when unplugged, due to its weight.
Both controllers are constantly blinking, and the blanket is not heating up. When I contacted Sunbeam customer service, they advised me to un-install the software. Not through a surge protector strip, but directly into the wall. I followed the instructions - the same outcome Also, it is not dryer safe; you can only put it in the dryer to damp dry on low, then air dry and stretch it back to its original size, which indicates that it will shrink. Not even close to the quality of my 25-year-old Sunbeam electric blanket, which, incidentally, is still functional; I was replacing it because the satin binding on top had frayed. I used iron on seam binding and plan to keep it until it breaks down, which will most likely be in another 25 years.
The softness of the fabric is incredible. The deep rusty hue is stunning. There are ten heat settings; the only difference is that the Low (L) setting is upside-down and looks like a seven (7). br>If you're looking for a luxurious heating blanket, this is the one to go with!.
I ordered a twin a few months ago, and it was impossible to get the same thing twice. I liked it so much that I wanted a king size, so I went back to my previous order and entered the king size and color preference. THIS IS NOT THE SAME BLANKET OR CONTROLLER! Almost every size and color has its own set of descriptions. Despite the fact that they are both called Sunbeam Channeled Microplush Heated, they have very different features and even different release dates. If you're looking for something specific, be cautious. I'm extremely disappointed.
