As this pack n play mattress enclosure is 3 inches thick, and the mat that comes with your playard will be around an inch thick. You will not be able to put it on directly, because it will be very loose.
It is indeed the case. A shiny or sheeny surface is not acceptable. A quilted side is on one side of the case. The fabric on both sides of the case is soft.

When I took the sheet off the mattress, the kid tried to pick it apart. I got these to keep him from doing that. The mattress in this picture is for a mini crib (or pack and play). Cribs that fit standard dimensions will not fit in it. There are no signs that the cover has come off (so far). Zipper tabs are attached to a Velcro flap under the flap when closed, which my son hasn't noticed, so he hasn't been able to open the zipper so far. It is easy to put on (we have a mattress of 3 inches). Difficult to wash. I think it can fit a slightly deeper mattress (4 inches is definitely possible, 6 inches could fit, but it would be a tight fit). of the bottom is made of stretchy material, which makes it easy to put on and take off. I have not tested the waterproofness of this bag Although it does not sound crinkly like many waterproof items, it does sound somewhat solid. As a whole, I'm very pleased with the tool, and for our particular needs, it was exactly what I required.
The mattress pad cover was the perfect match. Aside from being very soft and comfortable, I find that my toddler likes to sleep It is nice to be able to zip the mattress cover up around it to secure it. My toddler loves to remove the plastic casing from the mattress and things like this have solved that problem because she is unable to access them.
