For the mattress of my baby's crib, I purchase this product to give his bedding some additional softness. It was a lot harder than I expected for the mattress alone and although I understand why this may be based on pediatric recommendations, my son would wake up constantly without a softer bed or padding. The idea of leaving him in his crib with a thicker blanket underneath him whenever he slept wasn't comfortable, so I began looking into other options. It seemed pointless to me to put multiple sheets on after they didn't really add anything to the comfort. I decided to buy this and thus far, I haven't had any problems. My little one is sleeping through the night because it has just enough padding. The fact is that the pad absorbs liquids, so it does fulfil its purpose, but it also adds extra comfort to what used to be a hard crib mattress, which meant my little one could get some sleep.

You should not use this if you expect it to be This doesn't even keep the water out. There might be a slight absorbency to it. Our other mattress protector (Carter's) and mattress protector pad (babies r' us) were removed - so we purchased this - and we like it a lot. In order to cover the mattress, we would alternate these but this babies r' us pad wasn't large enough so we would overlap. The first time we did that for about 4 years and the second time 2 years after that, we thought maybe we should just buy another protector so we can no longer use the pads because it would be easier to put on the fitted sheet. We do not recommend it.

There is a thin, noisy layer on top of it. Described in a way similar to a tarp and aluminum foil, it sounds like a cross between them. According to the pictures, it looked like there would be some plush on top, but it actually consists of plastic that makes it waterproof, a thin cloth over and around it, then an elastic strap. Sadly, the one I bought my son two years ago is no longer available. It's so plush and in new condition but I paid $15 for it and I'm unhappy it no longer exists. Although I would have returned it, my husband has already put it in the washing machine. Even if I wash it, I'm not convinced that it will hold up. In the near future, I plan on buying another one from another.

This is an item you should buy at least three times. If your house has been infected with a stomach bug and your child has been puking every hour, you'll understand. One can be washed, one can be dried, and one can be kept on the bed at all times when you have three. Several of my friends have suggested laying three layers of mattress covers and sheets on top of the mattress to facilitate quick mattress Despite having a tough surface, we use it from season to season without any issues. A real steal considering the light weight, well more than even that since they are worth their weight in gold.

In order to protect my Ikea L-shaped table from water, I looked for a waterproof protector I was looking for a solution for the odd shape of our couch, and thought maybe a crib protector would work for a part of it, while a regular futon protector for I really like this crib protector since it fits perfectly (since the skirt stretches) and is comfortable to.

There is no difficulty in applying it. Also, I notice that whenever my baby spits up (he has reflux), the liquid does not soak into the protector and sink into Our mini crib is stained and soaked every time he spits up because we have a different brand. The pad doesn't have to be changed out every time I want to change the sheets, which is great. If you have a thicker crib mattress, I highly recommend it!.

The crib mattress fits snugly inside the cover. I have not put it to the test yet, so I am not sure if it is water resistant, but it seems like an excellent material and should do the trick. So I would have a spare in case one is in the wash, I added an additional one to my registry.
