There are a few exceptions to the claim that the mattress cover fits nearly all portable cribs. The Pack 'n Play comes with a 1" mattress that can cause bunching this is one of the exceptions listed. To avoid exactly this, I made sure to avoid it. As a result the mattress manufacturer suggests getting a thicker mattress to avoid bunching, but I'm hesitant to do so out of concern for safety (too thick or too small). The reason why I did not get a new mattress was because I could not find a replacement. Furthermore, I would not want to warp the mattress cover either, as this was exactly what it would have done if I had kept It was decided that I would use the Graco fitted sheets, which do not have elastic, as well as the waterproof version of Graco fitted sheets. My pack n' play mattress included an additional (add on) mattress, and I've used it on the thin "mattress" that came with the pack n' play as well. There is a large skirt on the skirt that fits both types of mattresses, so it provides complete protection to the mattress underneath. My child can breathe easily since the skirt keeps the pad in place, so I don't have to be concerned about him catching the fabric under his face and not being able to breath. The cushioning on this is not so dense that it would cause me to become concerned. As my son was leaking through his diapers nightly, I decided to add diaper pads to his night time diapers, which meant I had to wash this pad a lot! Even though I washed it almost every night, it still looks like new. Even when I washed it on "antibacterial" setting of my washing machine, with water temperature up to 145 degrees, it did not cause any damage to the pad. This has been an excellent experience for me, and I would highly recommend it.

I have a pack and play so this is the perfect pit. I really like how much cushion there is, and how soft it is. All in all, it worked out great because I bought a sheet to place on top. This sheet is so soft that I probably don't even need the top sheet on top, but I am going to keep it on anyway.

Our family has bought three of these great mattress covers over the past year, and we highly recommend them. (They tend to get dirty pretty often, so we should have several of them. There is an elastic skirt on the bottom, making it easy to pull it over the mattress, so they don't shrink or lose their shape.
