The item was actually purchased for my chocolate Labrador, Scout (50 lbs). For some reason, when it comes to fleece/sheepskin type materials, she doesn't destroy all the blankets and toys that I put in her crate. curls up on top of this blanket because she loves it so much. If you are in search of a soft, great blanket for your dog, I highly recommend it.
