In two cases, I have owned their muslin sleepsacks, and both of them fell apart very quickly (on one, the zipper track separated from the seam, and on the other, the shoulder seams separated). There is a section of the blanket that is ripping away from the outer hem after having been washed once before use. Though I should have learned my lesson from the first sleepsack I failed to buy, I like to give a company another Despite my initial expectations, there were quite a few things to go wrong with a simple blanket without shoulder seams or zipper tracks. I find it a shame, since this lightweight material is perfect for warm weather. With the prices these companies charge, they really need to step up the quality of their manufacturing.

Once out of the washing machine I hung it in the dryer and it's already soft as a cloud. I imagine that when fabric is wet, it gets tough and getting wrapped around the agitator would have caused the type of damage they described. Overall, this is a great design with a bunch of spring colors to go with pretty much any pastel color scheme. This is a large blanket (much larger than I was expecting) that will grow with my daughter and is soft to the touch.
