Questions & Answers

There appears to be a bag that is similar in appearance but differs in size. So, what exactly is the distinction?

When I was looking for the perfect sleep sack for my daughter, I came across a few others that looked similar. The bags I examined appeared to be two months old - 2 years, 2 years, 2 years, 2 years, 2 years, 2 years, 2 years, 4 years. My daughter has been in the 90th percentile since she was three months old, so the cheaper store-bought sleep sacks only worked for a short time; the sizes are perfect for us, and the only difference I noticed while looking was that the woolino was the only bag with snaps on both shoulders. This makes it easier for us to get her in and out of the bag, and it's one of the reasons I chose the woolino; we love it so much that we have two of each size.

Have you ever used a "no cost" service? A pricey wool wash is recommended by woolino. thanks! ?

Tide free is something I use on a regular basis. I use clear for all of my wool clothing, and I'd use it for this sleep sack as well. I haven't ruined any of my wool in the washing machine. The key is to avoid using fabric softeners, fragrances, or any type of oil in your detergent. These ingredients coat the wool fibers, preventing them from properly wicking moisture, reducing their "four-season" performance. Woolite is the worst product for washing high-quality wool.

What exactly is the situation? What's the difference between this and a standard Woolino sleep sack for all four seasons? Do you have a preference for one or the other?

Selected User Reviews For Woolino 4 Season Ultimate Baby Sleep Bag Sack - 2 - 24 Months Universal Size - Merino Wool - Gray

I'm torn
4/5

So I purchased this sleep sack with the expectation that it would fit my baby until she was 24 months old. That alone justified the cost, and I was blown away by the quality when it arrived. Now, I understand that every baby is different, but as I sit here nursing my 10-month-old, she only has 3 inches left before the length no longer fits her, and that's a generous estimate. She's only a year old, but she's already outgrown this sack, which has been washed meticulously and always according to instructions.

Woolino Kids and Merino Kids are compared
5/5

This, along with the merino children's 0-, was purchased. two sacks for sleeping The following are the distinctions that I was able to discern. br>The zipper is made of the following materials: On the woolino, the zipper is two-way and very user-friendly. It's super simple and quick to get your baby in when they're fussy at bedtime. The Merino children's zipper is a one-way zipper that takes some time to open. It can be difficult to get it in place at times, and having a crying baby doesn't help matters. The merino kids bag has this as a major flaw. br>Shoulder snaps: br>Shoulder snaps: br>Shoulder snaps: br>Shoulder Both shoulders of the woolino are adorned with snaps. This makes transferring a sleeping baby into the bag a breeze. It's also a lot simpler to get out of bed in the morning. Merino children's bags have snaps on one shoulder, making it difficult to place a sleeping baby into the bag without waking him or her. Arm hole snaps: br>br> Both of them have arm hole snaps that can be used to make them smaller. The arm hole on the woolino is a little bigger, so it's better for bigger kids. Both, however, include snaps that can be used to reduce the size of the holes. fabric: br>br>fabric: br>br>fabric: br>br>fabric The woolino is a little thicker and warmer than the merino kids, according to the descriptions. The woolino is also extremely soft, far more so than the merino children's bag. br>br>The Woolino is slightly longer than the Merino Kids bag, but the Merino Kids bag is slightly wider. For larger children, wider may be preferable. br>br>In general, the woolino is more user-friendly than the merino children. I also have the Merino Kids winter weight bag, which is a better choice for cold climates or small spaces. The woolino 4 seasons isn't warm enough for a colder room, but it's an excellent choice for 3 seasons or homes heated above 65 degrees in the winter.

The best wearable blanket you can get for your money
4/5

This wearable blanket fulfills all of my expectations and then some. You can hold it in your hands and feel the incredible quality with your eyes closed. The cost is well worth the money. br>br>Of all the color schemes, I liked the grey the best, at least in this representation. The issue is that it's actually beige. When I first got it, I mistook it for the color Earth and requested a replacement. It was the same with the second one I got. I then bought color Earth to make sure it wasn't a mistake, and it's a lot darker than it appears in the picture. I'm deducting a star for this reason, as well as the openings that I don't think are necessary. Who would put a baby out in a blanket that can be worn? When my baby is doing her pre-walking routine, her foot gets caught in the fabric around the opening. My baby slept for 11 hours the first night I put her in this blanket. br>br>It just so happened that she slept for 11 hours the first night I put her in this blanket. She was four months old at the time. She was just so relaxed inside, despite the fact that it was 90 degrees outside and our air conditioner was running nonstop. Every time she wakes up, I find her in this bag, perfectly comfortable and slightly cool. She never sweats, so it's a perfect 4. blanket for the season. At 4,5 months, I began using the PUPD method to sleep train her. The results were incredible, and it only took one day to achieve them. She was in the midst of a major sleep regression at the time, having skipped all of her naps the week before. br>br>I included photos of Grey and Earth colors, as well as my grey pants (the color I expected when ordering a grey blanket). br>br>Click "YES" if you found this information helpful, and leave any questions you may have in the comments section below.

Affordability-- It does, in fact, save you money
5/5

I must admit that the high price of this sleep sack initially turned me off. However, I now see how it will save you a significant amount of money in the first year. I bought cheaper sleep sacks for my first child, but I had to size up every few months, going from small to X-large. By the age of 18 months, he was quite large. I bought a variety of weights in various sizes, as well as multiple lightweight ones to layer. After a few uses, the zippers on at least two of them broke down. In total, I probably spent around $200. I needed to replace a few that had a broken zipper for my second child, and I also discovered that I had the wrong weight for some of the sizes - Because one was a fall baby and the other was a spring baby, they were in opposite seasons when they were in the same size, so I took the plunge and bought Woolino. br>br>Man, I wish I had started with Woolino! The sleep sack is fantastic. It's a lovely design that's obviously of high quality. I've been using it since my baby was three months old, and she's now eighteen months old. We use it almost every night and only wash it once a week, and it's still in great shape. I don't use different weight sacks because it's inconvenient for me. I just change her PJs to be slightly warmer or cooler depending on the season, but the sack is the perfect middle weight. It should be neither too light nor too heavy.

It's just right for the Pacific Northwest
5/5

After reading a review that claimed it wasn't warm enough for the Pacific Northwest, I felt compelled to write this. In my opinion, that is totally incorrect. br>br>I live in the Pacific Northwest, and this is where my baby sleeps at night. She wears it over a light long-sleeve onesie in the summer, and footed pajamas underneath now that it's cold. br>br>I've always been extra cautious about making sure she doesn't get too hot or cold, and this device does a fantastic job of keeping her body temperature in check. br>br>In any case, babies under the age of three or four months should be swaddled instead of sleeping in a sleep sack like this.
