It almost deterred me from purchasing them, but I'm glad I did because they're fantastic! The zippers are an issue with many other brands as well, so they're affordable and good quality for the price. It's possible that you'll get a bad one now and then, but it's also possible that how people treat them has something to do with it. We wash according to the manufacturer's instructions and do so on a regular basis. No problems at all.

Selected User Reviews For Ely's & Co. 100% Cotton Wearable Blanket Baby Sleep Bag Solid Dusty Blue and Dusty Blue Stars 2 Pack (Baby Boy, Girl 0-3 Months)
These appear to be well constructed and a 100% cotton knit so they should be appropriately breathable. They look and feel very similar to other branded sleep sacks that cost twice as much, though the fabric is slightly less substantial than some other brands - It's not rough or thin; it's just a little less luxurious than other sleep sacks we've bought in stores (for twice the price). The neckline has a nice downward curve that helps to avoid any restrictions around baby's neck, though I'd say the allowance on these is in the middle of some other brands we've tried - We've had some that are more restrictive and others that are more lenient. The arm holes on these appear to be a little looser than competing major brands, which is one difference we've noticed in fitment. We were worried that because they were loose, our baby might get her arm stuck in one, but that hasn't happened at all, and she has been perfectly content to wear them as her squirmy little self with no issues. Because they are 100% cotton they do shrink after wash -
Because they are 100% cotton they do shrink after wash -
Because they are 100% cotton% They're about the same length as competing products, but I'll say that sleep sacks from well-known U. S. companies are a little longer. The bottom of the retail brands appears to be wider. Ely's is our personal favorite. Co. I would recommend it to anyone who is concerned about the width of their baby's sleep sacks because there is less excess fabric and our little one still has room to wiggle and kick. br>br>The zippers are smooth to use, but they have a lot of plastic teeth compared to other zippers I've seen. our baby's pajamas and other brand sleep sacks have much finer teeth. This hasn't caused any issues so far, and I don't expect it to do so in the future, but they are noticeably different. The packaging is attractive enough to be given as a gift, and it closely resembles retail packaging for competing products. br>br>These are a good overall value in our opinion, and I would recommend them to anyone who is hesitant to spend $20 on a single sleep sack from a competing retail brand.
Soft and light, these sleep sacks are ideal for traveling. The images in the listing are accurate. The size of the collar, on the other hand, is something I wish I had thought about before ordering. It should be as tight as a shirt collar to be truly sleep-safe. There's a good chance this will slide up and cover the baby's mouth and nose.
They've been great for a year and a half! Our 5-month-old (who weighs 15 pounds and stands 25 inches tall) fits perfectly and has plenty of room to grow. They're comfortable, the zipper works well, and the neckline isn't too high to cause him discomfort. The simple gray and star pattern is also one of my favorites!.
The zipper, on the other hand, is a disaster. I really wish it had a two-way zipper (which would be ideal) or just a regular zipper from the bottom up. As it stands, you must clasp the zipper together at the neck and zip down, which is inconvenient and inconvenient when you're trying to make something soothing for baby. I believe they do it this way so you can change their diaper while they sleep? But, let's be honest, that will never happen. You can't change a baby without waking them up a little, and many baby clothes open from top to bottom! So you'll have to open it all up anyway! br>br>This concludes the first part. The plastic zipper is the second part. Which, I believe, is why one of the four I purchased comes with a bunk zipper right out of the box. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing this brand in the future. However, if the zipper is fixed, I will definitely buy it!.
I've washed them a few times and they're still going strong; I think the thickness is just right - They have a similar feel to our cotton Carter's and Halo's.
I haven't been able to sleep through the night as I had hoped, but they do make a difference. They are, however, warmer than you might expect, so if you're putting on footy pajamas, make sure they aren't fleece, or your baby will become overheated. During the summer, we had the air conditioning blasting, and I assumed baby would be cold, so I put a full sleeper underneath her, but she was sweating and didn't sleep well. However, it's ideal for this time of year in the northeast (fall).
This was purchased for my 6-month-old baby, and there is plenty of room for growth at the bottom. I was concerned about the amount of fabric at the bottom, which could potentially rise up and obscure her face. To avoid this, I tried it at the bottom with a hair tie, so her feet could stretch but she wouldn't kick up the extra fabric and hide her face. It worked perfectly!.
We purchased a six-pack of cigarettes. It's a 12-month size, but it won't last much longer than that. I was let down.
