The content label on the mattress pad is missing (I may have cut it off), but the top appears to be cotton - It has a supple texture. I believe the sides are made of polyester. Much nicer than my old mattress pad, which had a flimsy "fabric" that shredded after a few washes. This pad's quality has exceeded my expectations.
This pad is THIN, measuring 1/8-inch in thickness. Depending on how much you compress it while measuring, it can be as small as 1/4". I have to look for the thicker ones because they are hard to come by in the low-lying areas. I expected it to be thicker and plusher than it was in high-end chain stores, so I was disappointed.
The fact that it is NOT WATERPROOF is stated clearly in the description.
It washes and dries quickly, but I prefer to air dry it. The stackable dryer appears to be quite compact. To untangle it, check it about halfway through.

" When it arrived, it was shiny and felt like polyester. The label on the package said microfiber, but it's actually polyester. I guess I'll have to accept the package because the legally required content label was nowhere to be found. In addition, it was extremely thin. I suppose you get what you pay for, but the deception is particularly egregious.
The materials inside aren't entirely made of polyester and aren't as soft as they appear in the description. Because I discovered many broken pieces of "price tag plastic fastener" within the bed pad, I believe it was made in a plastic-related manufacturing facility. Many of those small pieces would stick up through the bed pad and prick my skin, but it wasn't bad enough to bruise my skin while I slept, but it was annoying. So, I chose the ones I found and am now able to sleep soundly. However, dealing with them was not a pleasant experience.
Once it has completely fallen upon, it is washed. I understand that the product was inexpensive, but it should have lasted at least two months.
Plenty of mesh to encircle a tall mattress, with enough elasticity to grab underneath and keep it in place. I recently bought a Loom for $2000. A king-size mattress set made of Leaf memory foam. The mattress cover was purchased to keep sweat, dead skin, and other microbial elements from accumulating on the mattress. That is why you should invest in a mattress cover like this one. br>To those who downgraded the product, a word of advice. br>1. This item does not claim to be waterproof, and it is clearly labeled as a polyester mattress cover. There is no mention of vinyl or waterproofing in this document. A vinyl mattress cover is required if you have children who are allowed to bring food and drink into their beds.
2. In response to someone who said it didn't make their mattress more cushy, comfortable, or luxurious; This isn't supposed to happen! This product measures a quarter inch in height and is designed to cover the mattress so that you can wash it and keep dead skin cells and sweat from penetrating into the mattress. Simply put, you need a new mattress if you wake up with back pain. br> For the past year, I've mistakenly believed that my already arthritic back was the problem; it wasn't; it was my mattress. br>It was clear that it was time to change my mattress after going on vacation and sleeping in very upscale hotel beds without experiencing any pain. br>Mattresses should be replaced every six to seven years. After conducting extensive research into hotel bedding, I discovered that the reason hotel beds are so comfortable is that they are replaced every six months. br> If you can't afford to replace your mattress and want something to put on top of it to add support and relieve pressure points, a down or latex foam one and a half to two inch mattress topper is a good option. br> This product is exactly what it says it is, and it looks great. There are no flaws, and it fits perfectly on my high mattress.
Love Utopia Towels, but I'm so disappointed. The mattress pad, on the other hand, has disappointed me. I washed it on the gentlest setting in my washer and tumble dried it on low heat. I discovered patches of the backing had been obliterated when I went to use it for the first time. (I never had the opportunity to use this. ) Although the top material/cushioning appears to be comfortable, I am unable to give this a higher rating than a one. star. It could just be a coincidence, but I don't think so. I simply wanted something that was inexpensive, comfortable, and made of cotton. y pad. This, on the other hand, isn't it.
I had originally placed an order for a Queen size bed and a Twin Xl bed for a twin bed. Because I have a 12" Zinus mattress with a 3" gel foam topper, I went with Twin Xl for twin. I've purchased twin bedsheets that were too small and exchanged them for Twin Xl bedsheets that fit perfectly; however, this quilted mattress pad does not! It's a big pad, and the Twin Xl pad was over 5 inches long when it arrived! So I had to go back and get a true twin size, which was perfect, even if it was an inch or two too big! The Utopia sizes are perfect for me, and the pad is much cooler than the one I had previously. The Queen size pad, by the way, was perfect and not at all tight! Thank you for a successful business relationship, Utopia!.
It's ideal for replacing a worn-out pillow top on an older mattress. I took out the foam from the pillow top and replaced it with 3 inch foam, then covered it with the cover to make it feel like a new mattress.
