It's one inch thick, according to my ruler. Although there is a seam on the side to make it appear thicker, mine is only one inch thick. But I enjoy it. It has a soft texture and long sides. I have a pad on the mattress that I intended to replace it with, but it is instead going over it, and it does so without difficulty. It doesn't protrude from the mattress and provides excellent coverage. For those reasons, I've decided to keep it.
I sleep on my side and this did nothing to keep me from waking up sore because it isn't even close to being 4 inches thick.
This topper puffed up quickly in comparison to others I've tried. Before putting it on our bed, I only left it out for a few hours.
You can do it, I'm sure. It has a substantial thickness.

HIGH QUALITY AT ITS FINEST! If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, you've come to I was in your shoes not long ago, spending countless hours reading reviews in search of the best, and I finally found it with this topper! It's awe-inspiring! It's been a while since I've had it, but it's still very comfortable. I adore how soft and luxurious it is, and I especially adore how high the sides are. quality! It also included a white cover made of a very high-quality material. It was an added bonus that the material was of high quality.
But be wary of dirt; I always wash everything I wear or use before putting it on. This mattress pad is so large (queen size/thickness) that it would not fit in my regular washer. The soap suds were YELLOW at the laundromat, in a clunker of a machine. So, while it isn't quite 4" (2. It's about 5" thick and pretty comfortable, and it's been shipped from all over the world. It needs to be washed thoroughly before use. Addendum: I gave it a five-star rating because it's so comfortable.
I bought it thinking it would be nice to have 4 inches of comfort, as other reviews suggested, but what I got was not 4 inches thick. At most, two inches.
This isn't even close to being 4" thick. Very dissatisfied.
I'm glad I purchased it, though. I had bought a lull bed that was uncomfortable, resulting in sleepless nights. But as soon as I put it on my bed, I was done. br>I'm completely enamored with it. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this book.
Because of the lack of reviews, I was a little concerned about making this purchase. I looked for a mattress topper in this price range and narrowed it down to three options, but I chose this one because it was heavier than the other two. I haven't even fluffed it yet, and the photo was taken after an hour of opening and letting it expand. I bought it to use as a small cushion on top of my memory foam bed; I haven't slept on it yet, but I already know it'll be perfect; the fabric doesn't seem as luxurious as the more expensive ones, but I'll cover it with a mattress protector.
First and foremost - It's an understatement to say I struggled to get out of bed. It took a lot of convincing to get me out of bed. This is a fantastic upgrade for a mattress that is five years old and in desperate need of replacement. It blew me away. I'm in my apartment, but it feels like I'm in a five-star hotel! I would strongly recommend this product and would purchase it as a gift for friends.
It instantly puffs up, giving the impression of sleeping on a cloud. It was very easy to put on my bed and stays in place while I sleep, so it was definitely a good value for the money.
