I was confident that it would last a long time, but two months later, after only occasional use, it simply stopped working. It hasn't been harmed in any way, and nothing has been spilled on it. When you depress the control, it illuminates, but when you release it, it turns off. Activate the switch. I was extremely dissatisfied, especially since it cost more than $50 for what is now essentially a throw blanket.

For our dogs, we keep heated lap blankets at the foot of our bed and on the couch. This blanket does the job, but it is extremely light. Because the wires can literally be felt throughout the blanket, I layer a blanket on top for the dogs to lie on. (We don't have to worry because our dogs are older and don't chew. ) ) It's fine for what we're doing with it, but not for personal use or as a gift.

After another blanket I had stopped working, I purchased this one. I use these on a daily basis and leave them on for the majority of the day. I've had this one for about 5 months or a little longer, and it's been washed and still works perfectly fine. I even stopped using it for about a month, and when I finally plugged it back in, it worked perfectly fine; it still gets hot enough and stays on for as long as it should.

It started out great, worked great, felt great, and even looked nice, but after five uses by my wife, the control box no longer turns on, and when it does, either the blanket blanket starts getting warm or nothing happens, and the blanket shuts off. br>It hasn't been washed or damaged in any way since I got it, so it's just garbage. I guess you get what you pay for.

The color is exactly the same as it appears in the picture. The blue one was the one I ended up with. The heat options are excellent, and the fact that there are five settings is a nice bonus from a low-cost product. med- high. When I gave these to my brother and wife as gifts, they were. . . They like the blue and tan ones that I sent. This product comes highly recommended.

This winter's frigid temperatures have aggravated my rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, and I was miserable until I got this blanket. It has saved my life! It's soft and light, warm, and the perfect size to cover my hips to toes (I'm tall). Controls are simple, and the exterior is velour with a fleece lining. Other members of my family keep stealing it, so I'll have to buy another. It has five temperature settings and is of good quality. This is an excellent option.

In recent years, I've had a number of heated exchanges. This is the one that has been around the longest and is still going strong. In the morning, my sacred hound lies down on it, covering my lap. The combination of warmth and control is more than enough - It appears to be a little thin in comparison to others, but those throws were unsuccessful, and this one is still going strong. I am pleased with my purchase.
