It's the best thing I've bought in years, and I've only had it for ten hours. It's nice to have warm sheets to sleep on at night. It also aids in the relief of sore muscles.
I washed and dried the item before using it with no issues. My old one gathered water in the corners and required hand wringing after each wash. It was, without a doubt, inconvenient. It washed and dried quickly, just like sheets.
If you don't press the on button again, the mattress will stay on for 10 hours. You can, however, turn it off at any time during that 10-hour period by pressing the button once more.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. I have a king who can be controlled by two people. I'd like to trade mine for yours.

We used to have an electric blanket and you could feel the wires in it, so I was wary of this one. We placed it on the bed expecting to send it back because of the wires, so I felt around inside and sure enough, there was a wire. The first night disproved my assumptions, and I'm not sure how we survived without them. I can't feel the wires on the bed now that it's in place for the life of me. The ability to carry out the preliminary research The warm-up is a nice touch, and I often find myself not wanting to get out of bed in the morning. This is something that everyone in the north needs!.
But I've tried mini heating pads because I have fibromyalgia and nerve pain in addition to muscle pain. But this is the best because it has 20 settings, making it simple to find your ideal temperature range. It is well padded so there are no wires to feel. Some people have complained about the plug at the bottom of the mattress hitting their foot. I am 5'3 and have never had this problem. I love my Heating pad mattress cover so much that I want to get another one for my mother, who suffers from aches and pains. So I highly recommend this. I love all of the settings because it allows me to choose the ideal amount of heat. Did I mention there are 20? I hope this information is useful to someone else who is seeking relief from head to toe.
I have good vision, but when I need to see something up close, I use drugstore readers. On this mattress pad, it's nearly impossible for me to read the controller. You'd think there'd be a OFF- switch somewhere. No: the controller has a small gray window with a less-visible light that you can see in the dark, but no: In a misty attempt to show you the heat level, a gray readout with "1" through "10" pops up. In the corner of the window, there is also a tiny, and I mean TINY, readout with two options: "STAY ON" and "STAY OFF," and how you get them to change, I have no idea right now without dipping into the not-yet-yet-yet-yet-yet-yet-yet-yet-yet-ye All instructions are written in a friendly manner. Why not give us a controller that we can read in the dark, manufacturer? This mattress pad is designed to be used in the dark, so why not give us a controller we can read in the dark? After stumbling around trying to get the pad on my twin-size bed, I gave up. I'm not going to wrap it all up and send it back; instead, I'm going to use it until I'm so fed up with this inept design that I decide to send it away for something with a user-friendly controller. (also known as a sleeper) ) friendly, and I tossed the current one in the recycle bin because I didn't want to give it to a Goodwill customer.
lol. The dual independent heating controls, which means one side can be cooler and the other side is a smoker for those who like it really hot, were the convincing factors for me to purchase this particular product after a lot of research and word of mouth from others who have something similar. I received the product in excellent condition and immediately put it to the test. I tried out the preheat option, which worked perfectly, and then I had to figure out which temperature would be best for me, because I am one of those people who prefers it warm. To my surprise, the hottest setting made me feel like a roast in the oven, so I had to turn it down a few notches until I finally figured out that level 6 is perfect for me. The temperature is increased to 20, and be warned: you will turn into a rotisserie chicken because it is extremely hot. I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from muscle or joint aches and pains, dislikes sleeping in a cold bed, or, like me, hasn't had anything hot in their bed in a long time. lol. Putting aside the jokes, this product was well worth the money, and I proudly award it a 5-star rating. the number of stars.
When I first used the mattress pad, I noticed several cold spots. The plug- It's on the pad's top surface, which is quite unpleasant. Also, the display is very faint, making it difficult to read in the dark (although some may consider this a benefit). I looked for the best-rated pad but couldn't find one - NONE - They were all rated five stars. Each one has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. The only reason I didn't return this one was because I was afraid of getting something even worse. The plug- I had hoped to be more satisfied with this purchase because the portion, while uncomfortable, is of higher quality (heavier, more durable plastic) than a previous Sunbeam model I had.
The preheat is one of my favorites. I'm sure I'll find one I like among the 20 heat settings, but since the weather isn't too cold yet, I'm using 1. It has a deep pocket and is very stretchy, so it will fit any mattress depth. No wires can be felt because there is a lot of padding. Only complaint is that with the control wire on the bottom, the foot end is too cool for me, and I'm short. Heat goes all the way to the top of the mattress, so I'll try reversing it and hoping the box isn't in the way under the pillow. I wish the connect box was in a corner, as it was on the one I returned because it was too hot. Controls are dimly lit so they are not obtrusive during the day but visible at night. Control that is logical and effective.
The mattress pad is extremely warm! The controller isn't up to par! The led light does not stay lit to indicate that the unit is still turned on. So, are you turning it on or off when you press the button? It's a problem for both my wife and me, who are in our mid-seventies. It's not something that older people should be concerned about. In the last 30 years, we've gone through three mattress heating pads. Sunbeam has not kept up with the latest technology available on the market today, by today's standards! So, if you don't mind not being able to glance over to see if the unit is on, you'll have to get up and check the on/off button. Aside from that, it heats up quickly.
