I just got this blanket, so I can't say much about its long-term durability. I plugged it in to see if it worked and heated up properly, but I haven't used it yet. It's the softest electric blanket I've ever owned, and it's as light as a feather while still keeping me toasty warm. I'm pleased, and the spring colors are lovely. Very lovely. I'd recommend it!.
I got this in August and used it a lot at work because it kept me warm. This blanket lasted until the end of December. I was sitting at my desk, wrapped in my blanket, when I smelled something burning. The blanket had a fire on the inside. When I rub the area, I can feel something. disappointed a great deal.
